This is still one of my favorite lakorns that has revenge themed as the main plot. I do not mind that it became kind of draggy from the three episodes from the middle, I am invested so much in watching Khun Yai and Pin Anong romance develop as the story unfolds.
Characters: Khun Yai - as a male lead still loves his better half despite seeing her in various suspicious activities. He always said he despises her but save her every time she is in a dangerous situation. He may be aggressive sometimes but he never forced the female lead even though he is hurt multiple times by her words and actions which is very rare when you watch a classic lakorn.
Pin - I find her very kind and trusting to a fault but I cannot blame her for it because that's how she was brought up by her mother. I do not feel her character during the first part of the series but started to understand her during the middle part where, that's when she had a major character development towards the middle part until the ending. I like that she even instigated a plan with Khun Yai to thwart the main villain, deceiving her. Also, I've seen a worse FL than her who remains placid and doesn't contribute to anything but to cry every single time she is struggling.
Chemistry:
I love that there are real kisses in here, unlike some lakorns that I watched before. As a viewer, it is hard to be convinced about the passion of the main characters for each other if you see fake kisses between them.
Overall it is a very rewatchable lakorn for me. I have seen it four times now since the first time I have watched it in 2018. I still think this is the best Weir Sukollawat lakorn. It makes me a fan of him after this.
If you want a lakorn filled with action, romance, and lots of skinship, I recommend this one to you.
If you watched the original do you know who is the secondary couple in this one? I asked other people but they…
The secondary couple in the original was her best friend and the inspector. There was also a hint that the second lead and the ML ex gf who is a Doctor have an understanding in the end.
I am at episode 4 right now and I am happy picked this drama according to the good reviews I see here in mdl. I haven't ff any scenes yet. I hope it will remain good as the series progresses.
This is the oldest Thai drama that I have seen and it is so good that I have finished it without any eng subtitle available. I love the overall tone of the drama. Even though the two main characters fell in love at first their romance develops as the series progresses at very nice pacing. There is also no annoying evil character that's why I enjoyed it so much. I am willing to pay to watch the drama series again if it gets to be subbed in the future.
Yaya is a great actress, I want to see her acting dynamics and chemistry with other actors too. Hopefully her lakorn with Mario Maurer will be shown first.
This is the oldest lakorn I have watched and perhaps my most favorite in the Lakorn melodrama genre. The male lead is very passionate and touchy to the woman he claimed to despise and hate, and even although it's a common thing in lakorns, you see that the ML is not too forceful here to the point that he inflicts physical harm towards the FL. This brings back a lot of my memories of reading romantic novels in the 90s.
I disagree with the comment below me. Nune's acting is really great here. She acted so naturally with a lot of grace which reminds me so much of classic actresses acting like Audrey Hepburn with lots of subtlety in every nuance of her acting. She also has amazing chemistry with Pong. I can't stop watching this drama because it brings me so much of old school romance.
