The current actresses I can see playing Shen Miao in my head are Yang Zi, Zhou Dong Yu, Tan Song Yun, and Bai Lu. They have the acting range to play this role based on their previous drama performances. Anyhow, I hope the drama adaptation will not deviate too much from the plot of the novel.
This is the only Xianxia I am excited seeing right now. I really trust Yang Zi and Cheng Yi to deliver because they're really good with their successful past dramas.

I hope she gets more acting awards because she really excels in acting that is why she's one of the few chinese actresses that I trust when it comes to drama and movie performance as a female lead.
Battle of Changsha is a very excellent drama depicting the human sufferings and struggles for survival during wartime. It took me years before I watched this drama because I know this kind of story is heavily tragic but I'm glad I took the chance this week. It is beautifully written and well acted. My favorite characters are Xue Jun Shan and Mr. Wang.
I like this kind of theme of quantum mechanics and time travel. Even though I know I will be left by lots of questions when I reached the ending due to time travel paradoxes.
Never mind the bad cgi because I don't expect that from a drama (heck, i've seen worse) I hope I will be kept entertained until the last episode. One of the reasons I am staying because I like the characterizations of both the female and male lead. They have a purpose and not useless.
In Lakorn, there are not many male leads who are smart? I'm asking because I didnt watch enough to judge lol
They get persuaded by nangrais to misunderstood the female leads most of the time without using their common sense. You will see what I mean when you continue to watch more lakorns. ?
I just started this drama now. It is giving me the ISWAK vibe. The FL here is so perverted. Her antics are funny and cringey at the same time. As for the ML, I can't say anything about Mark's character. I do not find any likable characteristics of him yet, maybe later once I watch the second half of the series.
This got to be the best lakorn this year for me, why? The nang'ek is not a pushover and the pra'ek is very smart. It's quite a rare thing to see in a lakorn series. There are also a lot of pranang scenes that gave me feelings like I have butterflies in my stomach lol. I love the two leads chemistry.

She is the one person in the drama whom I think deserves happiness. I love her character to bits and pieces. Best female character in a lakorn series this year.
I cannot believe Klin Kaew Klang Jai is his first lakorn, I am watching it right now and I can say that he carried the whole show on his back because of his awesome acting.
