This drama has been disappointing in so many ways. Rather than reiterating the same points, I gladly agree with most of the below comments stating what they disliked so far.
I myself have dropped this. Maybe some day out of boredom I will finish off this drama on 2x speed. My high expectations felt like a waste of time.

My feelings exactly. Where is the maturity and understanding that comes as a normal human grows up over time …??? Why do these scripts have to put either the Female lead or the Male lead into such stereotypical characters? Circumstances and Time teaches a lot, and that wisdom is yet to reach these men or women in many of the dramas….! 🤦‍♀️ I wish the toxicity were lowered, and instead logic and tolerance were better portrayed as time passes….

I absolutely agree. I had similar thoughts after watching it as well. The pacing and cases of the drama were just awkward and disjointed to me. The characters lacked depth and the plot felt forced. I watched this because of “My roommate is a detective”, however, was quite disappointed.
They should refrain from associating any leads with characters from classics like Sherlock or Poirot! It’s an affront! The detailing of these legendary characters is just too high a benchmark and it must not be touched unless the script, direction and actors have Atleast a certain level.

Agreed. She is too indifferent and immature in terms of her breadth of thoughts. Too narrowly obsessed on one point with her father…. She has no appreciation of the affections she receives. And it seems she just wants to receive love and care, and has no intention of giving it…. Even after the revelation of her father, and later (as shown in teasers of ep. 34) when she finds LB as the victim, she is gonna wallow in useless guilt and again make her own stupidly lame assumptions and make LB suffer all the more. She surely is not a person good enough for LB so far…. The character development and growth is just nil in her case! Everyone is growing and learning except her. It’s either that or her acting in expressing largely lacks.
A 4th season! They took their own sweet time! I cannotttttt wait! After watching the first three seasons of this drama, Last I saw Han Jin woo was in the drama "Faith"!
Whooo! Who needs a female lead? There is going to be such awesome "bromance" anyways! Especially with these two irresistible actors! Park Hyung Shik and Jang Dong Gun???!!!!! :-D

What a change! He really blends well into the persona of the said character (Gu Yiran in this case).
