Ohhh dear, a screaming FL…one of my biggest turn-offs. I am in episode 1 and can’t stand the childish FL already.

Oh sorry I only just saw your reply now. I never made it past early episode 2, but I’m going to try again. Season 2 started okay but I really don’t like the FL there. Oh well. I ended up watching re-runs of House, MD instead. 😂

OMG. Thank you. I tried really hard to watch this but couldn’t understand the appeal. Right from the first episode, it was meandering, full of people yelling and just boring. You totally nailed it in your point by point analysis.

Thank you! I’m only two episodes in and already can’t stand it. I completely see and agree with your points. Too painful, cliched and slow. Nothing excuses the FL’s behaviour. She’s completely unlikeable!

I also avoided this drama at first because I couldn’t stand the ML and FL. Lee Jung Suk is not attractive to me either. I much prefer Jung Hae-In and finally decided to endure the leads just to watch him. I ended up liking the show despite its plotholes, and also having new appreciation for the leads. I still feel they’re not the best choices but it’s fine.

I so absolutely agree with your assessment. I felt the same way about the younger cast and the depressing second part with all the screaming.

You know what? I’m at episode 12, loving everything but I’m going to stop here. So sad the writers mangled the ending.
