Can I just say ep16-17 feels like I’m watching a Mexican Turkish/ telenovela in one fine afternoon. What a dipshi*t…
OMG you’re right. I was trying to figure out why this felt over the top with the story and level of villainy. Like, I’m not mad at it but it felt familiar somehow 🤣

Title Make Me Tingle Spoiler
The FL’s bf in the first episode had me RAGING.
What a person wants to do to protect themselves should be done full stop. To belittle her because of her lack of experience was just… grrrrr

Just shot gunned this from start to finish and honestly… I’m going to watch it again just to sit with it. There was a lot of nuanced character development I think I missed with LX and JQ but boi did I love this. It started real rough for me and was going to drop it immediately but I’m glad I stuck with because it’s so good

Dang, I hurt my own feelings catching up knowing there were more episodes to come. Waiting is so hard 😩

I thought this was going to be like the anime, which focused more on food and I loved that. This focused more on the Maiko themselves and at first it kinda bummed me out but honestly, it was still a sweet slice of life that was a pleasant and enjoyable watch. The relationship between the two girls felt realistic like they really did grow up with each other. Sometimes it’s just nice to watch something that’s purely cosy

This was the most painfully human show I have watched in a really long time. Grief isn’t linear nor does it happen when a person passes, you can grieve even when they’re still in the room alive and talking with you. It was a beautiful interpretation of this stage of life and how it’s felt by those caring for you. I genuinely do not understand why the score is so low - it was beautifully acted and heartfelt

One of the few dramas which I keep thinking about once in a while and whose OST I'm still listening to regularly.I…

Finally, someone who says it as it is. When I first had finished watching everyone kept calling this "toxic"…
I finished it the other day and still think this could have been solved with some clear communication and establishing boundaries of what they both were comfortable with.

That in mind, he said REPEATEDLY, he wasn’t into dating (in fact he had a whole reputation around it) and she did acknowledge it so you can’t be made at someone telling you who they are and ignoring it. Could he have been more clear? Sure but that would the end of the show on the first episode. I feel the point of all of this is seeing these deeply hurt, flawed people work through their complex feelings. I liked the show and I’m calling bs on the red flag.

I’ve started this today and looking at the comments… I guess no one’s heard of poly relationships? Not saying that’s what’s happening here, however, it kinda is and that doesn’t make the ML a walking red flag. If they just communicated properly we’d be good

I just finished this and I wasn’t ready for how beautiful this story was. It’s going to take me a long while to recover from this

I genuinely liked this show and didn’t mind the slow bits. My only complaint was leaving the ‘The Heroes’ plot point to the very end because it felt like it was tacked on to just finish the show. It was heavy for the both of them and should have been given more time.

anyone rewatching this 2025 ☺️
Actually I am! It’s the second cdrama I ever watched (I watched it last year) and I don’t think I gave it a fair viewing when I did so I wanted to revisit it and see if my opinion changed. I’m on ep 14 and it’s growing on me ☺️

Just finished this and it was thoroughly enjoyable! Agree with some of the other comments, the relationship between her and her brother felt so natural and funny, it really sold it to me. The romance was sweet with the right amount of tension. I’d deffo watch this again

I mean, going abroad, or I don't know, in more humane ways, she could have removed other characters from his life.
Literally! I just finished this show and kept thinking about all the trauma she caused this poor man

Just started this and I’m glad I decided to watch One and Only first because the tie in to it always made me chuckle like I was also there in the past life and I know they’ll be destined to be together. I’m okay with the slow burn as long there’s a payoff in the end
