The love interest of the female lead not only a psychologist who is (or claims to be ?) charged with following up on her well-being after her release from the psych ward in the more unethical way possible before we even consider that is fully pursuing a romance with a woman he full-on stalks! How did her medical record get leaked? It seems as though he provided them to a third party.

The level of unethical behavior is so high, it's unbelievable. For the record, follow-up care is a protocol that is agreed upon by all parties BEFORE a release from the hospital, it takes place at agreed-upon time in an medical office if not the original hospital, it has benchmark for stability of the patients & frequency of appointement before coming to an end, hopefully.

Dude shows up outside her flat, unannonced & she doesn't know who he is & is unaware of any follow-up requirement. He pressures her unethically to coerce her compliance to his demand. When he can't finds her, he reaches out to a person she has not listed herself as an emergency contact & gives her his patient (?) medical records, then discusses her medical record with her employer. That's illegal on all counts.

I'm on episode 11 & he basically just tried to get together with her one minute & talks about his work (as her psychologist) the next. He also told her how he recognized her from meeting her as a child whose father was responsible for the death of both his parents. That's insane, that's Colleen Hoover shit!
Now, I'm not convinced he isn't just a stalker period who has access to her record because of his job & invented this follow-up assignement. That just makes more sense that he would be full-on going rogue.
I'm hoping this romance is doomed & I kinda want to find out if I'm right about him going rogue, so I'll keep watching I guess...

The best drama I've watched this year.

Teach You a Lesson is the show that ask that burning question: "What if we could just hit children? Wouldn't that solve most problems?"

The answer? Brute force is used in the drama extensively & they pretend it fixes the problems.
In fact, we follow a team that, what we are supposed to applaude for coming in to fix huge problems left unaddressed by the institutions responsible for making sure they don't emerge?

Time & time again we see the wrong way to tackle the problem: instead of funding appropriate instances to tackle juvenial crime, drugs, gambling, CSA, parental abuse & reforming schools to prevent corruption & abuse from parents & teachers, instead of institutiong children's rights to health & rest & dignity....
we get victim blaming nonesense where they keep telling us "you need to ask for help, you can't get help if you don't ask for it" to characters who have asked for help & received backlash & more abuse when they did.

Sure it's spectacular entertainement, but it exposes deep-rooted problems & gives the most stupid unrealistic solution to solving them. Which is all the more glaring if you've seen Chinese dramas like "Endless Protection" which tackes the same issue without turning it into a sensational clown show.

I'm glad to know it's not the same everywhere, that's it's not a fatality, that we can make things better. it's like Lin Zhitao says about mecanism for enforcement, a law without it has no substance. It doesn't make the law bad or worthless.

In 2013 I had a job in a school in France, the law says mandatory reporting, I was pretty ignorant but I did (try to) tell the headmistress about a kid who reported parental abuse & she just told me "he is lying" the moment I opened my mouth. Later she scolded me about disciplining the kid & told me "next time just hit him". There is a world of difference between the law & the application of the law.

I've always been very critical of age gaps in relationship, but the actors are 7 years apart in age, the young actress is right now 15 while the older actor is now 21 - they were both younger at time of filming, but it's okay that a 20 year old dude would have a little crush that the only thing he did as a consequence of his crus was try to help a 14 year old assassin not get executed. Also, we are given an explanation for her appereance, linked to her cultivation method of shrinking bones & muscles.
Ultimately, she is just a just actress, not a young character. And as a young actress, she is fully dressed, not touching or been touched, th young actress is not being sexualized & exploited (on screen). Make sure child actors are protected, can act & have rights & the money of their labour is the best case scenario.
