Well I think you're supposed to think it's weird and funny that someone would do that. Like when my son decided to suddenly take up bodybuilding 🤷🏼‍♀️😂

To me the sudden decision was part of the character, like he just now came to the decision to do something 🤷🏼‍♀️ But see my whole family is like this 😂

It wasn't one conversation. It was the cumulative effect of him worrying that not having friends disadvantaged him, meeting someone he thought might make a good friend, and the offer of help from the teacher.

The whole scene in the cafeteria was about him thinking maybe the no friends thing was going to be a problem.

He's an introvert in that he's comfortable with his own company, but also was starting to see the value in having other people around.

There were a lot of hints there, like him not recognizing people who had been in his class, him not understanding reciprocity in friendship, him not realizing friends were important. These don't necessarily point to Asperger syndrome, they can be common in ADHD as well, But yeah he's written as a neurodiverse character.

It was explained pretty well to me. He doesn't know how friends are supposed to work or how to make them so he just decided not to try,

This is actually not an uncommon experience for people with neurodiversity.

I think a lot of people didn't understand the MC yet, he's supposed to not understand people or social rules very well. I think some of these people have never known anyone with ADHD.

I love the main character, he's neurodiverse representation 😂 I think a lot of people can identify with him. Overall the episode was good.

Korean dramas have the best complicated characters with secrets to uncover! Every character in this is an onion lol.

I think they are actors, that might be why their scenes look so awkward, lol

I love watching couples vlogs (I don't follow theirs but I follow others) and I see a lot of BL trying to recreate the mood in a drama and I don't think it works. Couples vlogs work because they are nominally spontaneous.

I think they are a cute couple but I find all of their scenes very contrived.

First episode pretty good! The fact that it's a well funded production is obvious, it's got some interesting action but doesn't skimp on corny BL scenes either. I think you'll like it. (Also cute boys of course).
