You are correct. But since they aired the 4 greats older age versions first, they should’ve at least made them look a little older. And then on the side stories, they could’ve made them look younger. Honestly, I really think it’s a big mess. I’ve seen Zhou Yi Wei in The Rebel. He’s a decent actor. But he is definitely not HYS material. So disappointed in the casting. 😔 I completed the first part of this drama yesterday (30 eps) and its definitely a one time watch for me.

Actually, I don't feel that the casting is good. A few of the actor are passable but thats it. HYS has zero evil mysterious aura to him. And theres really no father and daughter chemistry with HR. He doesn't have what it takes to make me both fear and respect him, when I see him on screen. Like I did in the 1983 and 2017 versions of HYS. He is also missing the elegant literati vibe. Im really disappointed in the casting for HYS. ZBT isn't as mischievous as the previous versions. He also needs a little more grey hair 😂😂😂. And Ming Dao looks a little too young to play HTG. I like Vengo in other dramas but he has zero evil aura to play OF. Im only staying around, to see how they are gonna finish telling the side stories of the 4 greats.
