Also your opinion is, people should never compare adaptions of the same product? Like that's not something that will ever happen irl, people can't just forget they've seen things...

I dont know why you're taking this so hard but I'll bite. I went into this completely willing to judge it on its own merits, I think it does a poor job of telling the story end of. Not telling the story of the anime, nor of the manga. Character development is really short changed by the short nature of the episodes and the series overall. The main romance comes out of really nowhere, and the band members get like no coverage. I was expecting better, and it does feel like a poorer photocopy of the anime. You can't complain people prefer a different adaption of a text. This is called Given and is billed as an adaptation of that, you cannot ignore that.

People should bear in mind that it was never the goal of this series' makers to somehow reproduce the Anime as…
Whilst this is a fair point, it also doesn't meant they're excused from chopping out a lot of character development. You can be based on a preexisting work and still be your own thing, and I feel like this did neither - it didn't add anything of its own, nor was it a better adaption of the OG work so it feels superfluous.
Honestly really let down by the finale, I know it's unfair to compare it to the anime as it had way more time- but I think Mafuya's song was phenomenal in terms of its story telling in the anime, whereas here you had everyone crying in the audience and I can't figure out why. Also it's a pet peeve of mine but the kiss was way off target 😄 that was basically his nose.
I guess golden blood means Sky been privileged/rich throughout his whole live, as a son of a mafia boss, 'above'…
It's that and the fact Sky/Sun have some sort of rare blood type no? That's why Sky's dad wanted a bodyguard with the same blood type for transfusions (Sun was storing blood in that one scene) and I think it wasimplied that that is why his mum died as she had it too?
I think overall episode 5 kind of saved the show, but I'm still just a little let down overall. I think the show decided to go down the route of breaking them up, which is fine, but I don't understand why they went the route of cheating (which to me, is far more "final" and unforgiveable) when they were always going to get back together. Especially when they had a perfect reason for them to argue and break up- Oh giving up his place that Teh "sacrificed" for him. That would have made far more sense as a reason for an argument and split, that allowed for a far more amicable reunion later without it feeling so weird. As is, it feels like they just sort of skipped over it entirely.
Why isn’t anyone talking about the face Oh was making in Teh’s IG photo at the end? Why wasn’t he smiling?…
Others have been pointing out the photo but am I the only one who saw it as Teh just taking a photo before Oh was ready so he had a goofy look on his face like "What are you doing?" That's how I saw it, I didn't read anything bad into it, confusion vs not smiling
