Yeah the Director shows it's the same Girl reincarnated as her mothers soul. Wen Ae sun wanted her mother to reincarnate into a life where she would get the Desk Job she always wanted for her. It is shown that her soul has reincarnated n got her wish Fulfilled. ( Such Small details but so Touching ryt) This Director is so Damn Gud at storytelling. The Back n forth scenes in this Drama is so Outstanding. There is another one "The Hairpin". If u watch closely that throughout the whole drama she wears the same hairpin that Gwanshik gifted her wen they were plowing the cabbage field in first episode. It is the same Hairpin she wears in the End credits. Even wen times were Tough he always Bought Hairpin becoz she liked wearing hairpins. It's a way of him showing that he always cared for her what she liked .
I don't Believe in Rating that much until n unless I watch it but This is Exception. It's Really I mean it comes 4rm a person who is very Judgemental it is Really OUTSTANDING. It's not About sad Ending, it's Wat Real life is about. They have shown wat life is in a Real person's perspective. It's just Raw Emotions that have been portrayed ,that we Feel Everyday but we r so Busy in life that we just don't care much .
