I've noticed this trope as well in various j-dramas and a few tw-dramas and it really bothers me. Worse than the…
I think that "Biblia Koshodou no Jiken Techou" was the worst I've ever seen for the "easily forgiving the mother" thing. The crazy mother goes: "I left you and your brother 10 years ago to look for a book"; and the daughter: "I understand mommy, you can leave me again now that you told me the reason why you left me in the first place". That's some good reasoning here... -_-
But there's something I found really strange : in dramas, if a character is weird or behave badly, he has an emotional scar from his childhood. It's like that for almost every drama, and they use it to justify everything....I wonder why....
I'm dying in second hand embarrassment and I really hope they'll quit the English soon, but otherwise I was pleasantly…
The "second hand embarrassment" you mentioned enlightened me!
First time I see that feeling put into words. and that's really accurate! Haha ^^
I'm gonna stole it from you and use it! If you allow it ;)
I was really furious about the ending when I watched it before.
But I just rewatched it and now I found it really good! It's exactly what was needed :)
I guess I change my opinion really easily Oo
the first few episodes were really interesting, but then it kept on getting worse and worse... I had a really…
Same for me. I feel like absolutely nothing happenend since we found out everything way before the characters.
And the last episode...Do I like it or not? Anyhow, it was really unnecessary -_-
I totelly agree with you!!! I feel exactly the same way. Even though it's full of cliches somehow it's still hilarious…
Yep! :)
Dean is the same. He didn't really try to get with Liang Liang, or to mess her relationship with Qi Yi. I don't remember a second lead who didn't try in Tdramas. He even said something like : "I want the girl I love to be happy even with another man".
Why does the main actress always fall for the jerk, and the kind rejected second lead always finish with the b*tch...eventhough he loved the KIND main actress?
Too many dramas have this pattern, I'm getting sick of it...:(
I think one person rated it a "1.00" and the other a "10.00" :s
I rated it a 1, because I have a lot on my PTW list. I can't remember the one which are released and the one which aren't. Like that, I don't bother to search the movies rated 1 since I won't be able to find it. So I rate them: 1-unwatchable(litteraly, since it's not released).
Sorry :/ I removed it :)
This movie was really good. A must-watch if you like this sort of films.
It was my first time seeing lee Je Hoon acting, and I totally understand why he got an award for this film. I'm really impressed :)

At least that's how I feel it Oo
Anyway, thanks for the support :D
Too bad I already removed everything ^^"
