I get what they wanted to do with episode 11, but I think Day forgot that Mhok's dream is NOT to have a career or be a cook. Being able to provide for Day is Mhok's motivation for work, he just wants a family. Sooo... I feel the conflict is a bit nonsensical?
Mhok never wanted to have a long distance relationship with Day, that's not his purpose with work. So I get the fight for the lie he made, but not about the whole 'You missed an opportunity because of my disability'. No? He didn't want the opportunity in the first place?
And not wanting to get separated from your family is valid, especially after what happened with his sister, like...

I was kinda pissed off that Tharn STILL did not think about the necklace, like .... Dude, the abbot TOLD you Phaya had to have it with him at all time, but you didn't think about giving it back to him when you leave him alone at the hospital for days... "He's fine he's with his family" ...

I kinda think it's related to Yori's arson, that water was here to put out yori's fire as a metaphor for his self-destructive tendencies. But we don't really see any of those, because Yori becomes a sloth everytime.
For the shower scene I felt that if the water wasn't there, he was going to kill himself.

I'm personally just tired of disabilities being showed as something 'that needs to be cured'. I think a message like 'being disable is okay, you can learn to accept it and live with it' would be interesting too, and they could just leave it at that.

There's actually another power game at play here, as it is Student=minor Teacher=authority figure. People would argue that minors become adults so it redresses the balance, but here the teacher will always be an authority figure to its student.
