It's been a long time since Korean ratings stopped surprising me. More than that...I use to search and watch low…
I'm going to have to adopt your strategy of seeking out lower rated dramas.

1. japanese (movies & dramas) undoubtedly do 'raw' & 'dark' very well, humanizing even the most-questionable of…
I agree with all of your points. The low-budget cinematography compounded with poor quality video of free sites is the only thing keeping me from watching more J-Dramas.

This was hard to watch because it was so realistic. As much as I understood Nagata and even sympathized with him, it is best to keep as far as possible from romantic entanglements with people like him. They cannot be fixed and you should never feel bad about letting them go.

Jun Ho and Ho Yeol duo are as good as Sang Gu and Geu Ru duo. Netflix Korea really great on creating a chemistry.…
I agree. Also the fact that Netflix series aren’t drawn out to 16 episodes or more with useless filler is a real plus. Not only does it make for more meaningful & engaging narratives, it shows respect for the viewer.

I had high expectations because of the ratings and favorable feedback but just couldn't stand the FL. I found…
Same. My pet peeve is grown women acting “cutesy” like little 12 year-old girls.

did anyone find jisoo character to be annoying??I am still watching this show, and I know she is going to end…
I’m late, but I definitely agree that Ji Soo is extremely annoying g & juvenile. She stalked that guy like he was prey and she was a hungry lion cub. Why do Korean shows always depict grown women in their 20s-30s like simpering pre-teens?
What is this pairing of a 30-something man with a 16-year-old child as his “bride”? I’m so irritated & distracted by it that it’s overwhelming the parts of the series I do enjoy.

ETA: so I’ve just read other comments that the FL is supposed to be 19. That hardly makes it better and she looks and acts like a child of 16.

I hate that teenage boy. He's one of the most annoying characters I have ever suffered through. where does he…
That’s how teens are. Plus his mother cheated on his father and their separation mist have traumatized him.

It is precisely men who need to watch this film and understand the drudgery, fear, exhaustion, and lack of fulfillment that women live with on a daily basis. It’s shortsighted to dismiss this film as being for women only rather than using its insights to learn about the people who give birth to us, raise us, feed us, and love us.

Top review says this is a romcom. There's very little comedy in it. It's just a romance. I'm putting this here…
There’s a bit of comedy with Mr. Nam, some of the PR team members, the ML’s brother and Dae Chan & Sec. Jang.

Episodes 1 & 2

The bullying in Kdramas is off the chain. Everyone present just blithely ignores it or looks on with bemusement. It’s too much. Do Koreans really just stand around & do nothing? I’d have to go postal on all of them, enablers & perpetrators alike.

Jung Jin is an idiot too. She got burned on not one but two contracts! 😂
