I was honestly surprised to see the rating below 8. Its been so long since a kdrama has held my interest. I really like how light it is and that there is no possibility of a murder/mystery (fingers crossed). It just feels like every drama has a murder/mystery subplot even the romance ones so I was really happy about this one. It also doesn't drag things out, which makes sense since its only 12 eps but they could've dragged the romance until at least ep 10 since it doesn't seem the be main point of this drama
I usually stay away from school romance dramas cause they tend to drag a lot. I was bored so I decided to take a chance with this and I'm so glad I did. The ML wasn’t unnecessarily mean to the FL. The FL wasn't incredibly dense. The SML wasn't always in-between the main couple. The leads had really good chemistry and were a visual feast especially the ML's eyes. Overall a really good show
I'm in the minority here but I actually enjoyed the 1st arc. The misunderstanding was dragged too long but the plot is what i would expect from any normal lakorn. I won't be continuing with the 2nd arc. Tay's character does does not seem very interesting and the actress isn't my fave on-screen (sorry-not-sorry). I'll wait for the remaining eps to see Arty's arc.
I do hope there's glimpses into the 1st couples life in the ither arcs
I still love the drama as a whole but I feel the same as you. What didn't you like with the ending?
I won't say I expected a HEA but I expected at least a proper conversation between the leads and I felt like the Oh-aew and Bas pairing in the final ep wasn't the best choice. I might have appreciated the last ep more if we got a time jump in the 2nd half just to show whether Teh really figured out who he is w.r.t his sexuality and a scene of them meeting and talking whether they have feelings or not. Or even them simply meeting and sharing a smile.
I'm not done with ep 4 yet but I need to vent. I REALLY need Teh to stop queerbaiting Oh-aew. Like WTF that is never ok and the fact that you can tell he's doing those actions after having thought about but still back out at the last minute is getting to me. How the hell are you toughy and kissing someone then turn around and say "friends" aaaaaarrrrrggghhh. At this point I don't care for a head I just want Oh-aew to become the confident happy gay that he could be and forget Teh cause that boy will stress him out.
EDIT: Finished the episode and I'm emotionally drained. I have no words to accurately describe this episode. I need to now watch something happy to bring my mood up.

I've been seeing a lot about UWMA so I'm willing to give it another try just finished 'He's Coming To Me' so its next on my watch list. From your list, I think I'll definitely check out #4, 7, and 9. I've heard #8 is a tear-jerker, so that may have to wait cause I don't think I'm ready to be an emotional wreck.

I'm trying to steer clear of Fl BL, they seem to take forever to be completed. I'm about to give UWMA another try, I just couldn't get into it at first. And I've seen the other two, guess I'm caught up with all the good shows.
I recently started Bl thanks to tiktok and my cherry popper was tharntype so I had expectations for other series such as enemies to lovers, confused questionably straight guy, panicked gays and all the lovely stuff that comes with Thai BL. But I just so happen to stumble upon this beauty and my standards for BL have skyrocketed. I binged all the episodes until about 4am and imagine my disappointment when I realized the series isn't completed. Ep 7 really packed a punch. I feel like Karl DESERVES time to come to terms with his identity and what he's feeling but I also feel like Vlad deserves to have the reassurance that Karl isn't ashamed but confused and that he just isn't sure which way is up or down because all of this is new to him whereas Vlad had years to figure out who he is as a person. I just wished for a more mature convo at the end but I get it emotions were running high.
Can anyone recommend some others that have a similar vibe to this? I've already checked out "I Told Sunset About You"
