Yesss! totally agree, these days all the interesting shows i come across, is male rich ceo and female assistant/new employee, which are so boring these days, cause even western shows have same concepts almost everywhere, but with women in power and getting in love with a normal guy (Encounter) would be best example i would say, just feels more rewarding to me.

I have to agree, majority of noona romances are with basic plotlines, so is most of the romance in general as their plots been driven to the ground, but what makes me really love these type of shows is that its really cliche as you said, cause its something that does not happen often in real life and seeing older women (usually colder cause they went through alot) get their walls down by a younger man who's so pure in love.
And yes its always nice to meet another person with similar interests ;)

Ahaha, it almost feels mythical when you find someone older than you whom you attracted to, i have been waiting for some noona romances for a long time myself, few of them are Chinese and with their bans/laws some of them are on the shelfs for a while ;(

I would have to disagree, given the fact that older woman/younger man shows are lowkey compared to any other genre.
If you ask me almost all the youth or any romance in general, are as repetitive as it gets.

I love noona romances myself, must be cause i fancy older women myself, so when i found asian shows, i was like on a cloud 9.

You can watch Search WWW , jang ki yong acted as younger guy in that show too 'noona romance', The show itself is about powerful women, i really enjoyed it.

Find yourself can get annoying, especially with the second male lead he's so annoying, but if you love noona romance its still worth to finish just for that sweet cute romance ;)

I can do it too, i finished love scenery and joy of life within 2-3 days each ^^, others takes couple days more.

I did watch my dear lady but didn't finish it, maybe one day i will get back to it.
It's the first cdrama i came across that felt awkward watching as in the way its filmed/scenes.
in the last 2 weeks i finished 2 cdramas and now on my 3rd one, so it's all good just hard to describe the feeling i'm getting as i watch it ^,^

I don't know if its just me, but the way it's filmed it feels awkward to watch?

I have to agree, Encounter was the show that got me into Noona romance (Best romance type ever made!!)

Majority of younger actresses playing in Youth shows, if you look from the directors point of view, they might want experienced actresses to play older female on the show (thereafter older actresses)

She doesn't look that old tho? Don't forget female lead is a mother in this show, majority of noona romances have a lot older female leads, so you could tell by appearance that shes older.
