It was probably Ji Woong; we already see how he's probing the two leads with questions about their lingering feelings for each other, so I wouldn't be surprised if he tried to kindle their relationship again.
All the webtoon readers saw this coming but I was still hoping the kdrama would be different. I was happy when tvN changed Soojin's character to make her so much more likeable. She became Jugyeong's badass best friend who always protected and supported her. If you only watched ep 1-6 and never read the webtoon, you would've never thought that Soojin would be a backstabbing bitch. But that's exactly what tvN ended up reducing her character to. I'm honestly pissed that they did Soojin like that. If you were going to make her a bitch in the end just like her character in the webtoon, you shouldn't have set up the premise of her being Jugyeong's protective best friend in the beginning. Ep 9-10 were just trainwrecks because of all the damn cliches being used to build unnecessary drama. True Beauty has been a drama filled with cliches from the start, but at least the cliches in the beginning were fun and lighthearted, meant to create comedy. Now it's just a bunch of exasperating melo because JUGYEONG AND SUHO WON'T COMMUNICATE PROPERLY.

I haven't watched the drama but I read the manga. It's not that he can't; it's that he chooses not to. When An and Iori were children, An told Iori she wanted to become a radiologist and Iori said he'd become one with her so they could work together. However, An told him to be her technician instead because radiologists rely on their technicians to produce good scans in order for the radiologist to make an accurate diagnosis. He wants to support An by being her technician instead of becoming a doctor himself.
