Valid opinion. Honestly , I felt there were a lot of cringe moments throughout it. It is not the best BL, a lot of themes are reused and I think at a few moments (in the beginning especially) the directors didn't know where they were going. But through it all, it is enjoyable, and their chemistry is top notch, and makes up for it, at least for me. I am not here to see a serious story about a vampire and human, the story is not on a serious side. The story is stupidly cute. But yeah my comment was more about how I shouldn't trust it only on review since I did enjoy it, but I can understand why it's not to your taste. @-@
