I'm sorry that I hv to brief u a bit...
it's all about marriage life desires. couples who needs toleration and understanding each other to avoid miscommunication. wife's always need to understand the husband desires to avoid those mistress's incidents. it's not about cheating... Pi Young assume that she's the best wife ever but she been mean to her mom bcoz of her mom divorced (it's karma, what rounds go round).
Hye Ryun wants a perfection from the husband. but unfortunately she never wants to understand him. she never wanna cook for his husband whilst his husband been loving so much eating home cooking. she nvr wanna make herself look simple either. she overdo herself and too bossy.
Shi Eun too focusing on her work and kids... ignoring her husband sex desire. this happened in real life and I understand/agree what's the writer trying to convey.

I guess there's hint why some korean idols has committed suicide. there is the truth too...
