The best surprise of the year!!!!

I finished MSM a few days ago, but I miss it already!!!!!! It's a rare gem of the K-drama world in 2024. I loved every minutes of the show, and was very sad, when it comes to the end. I didn't want it to end, I really didn't.... :(
Uhm Tae Goo was a perfect choice for the role of Seo Ji Hwan/Hyeon Woo, both in funny situations and when the situation turned serious he perfectly shaped his character.
I loved all the members of the Thirsty Deer Company, such a lovely team. I would also like to work in such a team/company :) These "bad guys" were so adorable, and the series itself.
The characters of the female leads were well written, in the most cases they weren't too much or annoying, just lovable and cute. The balance was there throughout this series and the characters were constantly developing.
MSM made me laugh many times, it's been a long time since I've laughed so much at a series. The mobster storyline and the action scenes were also very exciting and enjoyable.
My favorite loveline was the relationship between Il Yeong and Mi Ho.
The OST is beautiful and heartwarming. I loved everything in MSM, the storyline, the music, the actors and actresses, all the funny scenes and the MESSAGE of the show.!!!!!! I will definitely rewatch My Sweet Mobster!!
This show is my Sweetie Pie!!! 10/10

Dear Hongrang, thank you for coming!

The SHOW I WAS WAITING for so LONG, CAME and TOOK a PIECE of MY SOUL.

I was hoping that the long wait would not be in vain, but the show exceeded all my expectations. I never thought that a historical series could captivate me to such a way. I simply couldn't stop watching it. It held my attention the whole time, I didn't find it boring for a single moment, and there were no insignificant, time-consuming scenes in terms of the story. The story depicts difficult and painful events and situations, but all of this was brought to the screen with unusual courage and even more tasteful and beautiful.
The beautiful and heartbreaking love story, we can feel the pain and joy of the young lovers with difficult fates, how they become each other's shelters. A great story about two people, who have nothing but hope, only pain and suffering all around them, yet they fight with their overwhelming and sincere love. The purest love, when you have no one but the person you love, but you don't need anything more, it gives you enough strength for everything, it brings you back to life. Nothing can end this, not even death, because Hongrang is always watching over Jae I. The scenes between FML and ML were beautifully depicted. There were chemistry, tension and passion on the screen.
The fight scenes turned out quite well, I liked that these scenes weren't always moderated, they used effects and colors boldly, and showed everything that was needed.
This was a well-assembled production, with lot of heartbreaking, thrilling scenes and sad, but delightful ending. The last part couldn't be avoided without tears, but from the beginning we could know, what awaits Hongrang, I have rarely seen a more beautiful depiction of the "final farewell". Brilliant implementing.
The last scene was an excellent ending of the story. I am totally under a spell, I am completely captivated by the story.
The OST was amazing , it was a hit!
We could pick holes in it but I don't want to and I don't care about them at all.
Thanks to the production team and all the cast members for this amazing drama!
The world has become a little better place with this show.

Good vibes, 2nd season please!

This show was funny, eventful, and very interesting with full of suprises. The actors did a great a job and their characters were very special and memorable. I enjoyed every minutes of the production, thanks to the special sense of humor and the twists. There are some unanswered questions in my mind after i watched it, but on the whole i liked it so much!!! I will missing it!!
The ending was correct and the story is closed, nevertheless, I still hope for a second season. New location, new adventures, another case to solve, and the unfolding of romantic threads so - so many funny and interesting situations could arise. There are still plenty of fantasy in this story and these characters.
The music was amazing and was always well suited to the actual scenes!!
I hope for a second season because the story has a lot of potential, to be of the same quality as the first season.

Great, great, great...

Great show, great acting, great music, great chemistry and characters. I was captivated by this magic, I became a Tenblank fan in a minute. Great musicans and singers.
The series portrayed the personality and inner world of a true genius in a truly realistic way, In my mind, a genius, a true artist is exactly like Naoki Fujitani. Satoh Takeru gave a brilliant performance, his acting and performing arts were at such a high level, I have rarely seen anything like that earlier. Among other things, that's why this production worked so well. Satoh Takeru is a genius for me and his voice... amazing.
I loved all the characters, all the bandmates, Kazushi (he was my favorite, I secretly hoped Akane would choose him, even though I was happy for Akane and Fujitani's love), Takakoka, Akane, they were so loveable, cool, special and charismatic. I really liked how they connected each other, their unique stories that brought them together, and how they stood by each other until the end. The ups and downs, in joy and sorrow, in success and failure they were one family, one invincible team. I would definitely mention the roles of Toya and Yukino, they really fit into the story and made it even more interesting.
What's a bit negative is that I didn't feel a huge breakthrough with Akane's character, I often felt the character was a bit boring and didn't develop much. Akane's character could have had a lot more potential, but in the last part, she really came to life.
The series showed what the power and love of music really means, and how to make a huge impact.
Another plus point is that it was really nice to hear the familiar song (Hikaru U.-First love) from Satoh's previous successful series, I really like it when similar references appear in a series. :)
I am very grateful to the creators, the actors and the entire crew for this special and lasting experience. Music is the cure for everything.

A Masterpiece of 2023

I was really looking forward to this production, it was absolutely worth it!!!!
For me, this show was the best of this year, despite the fact that 2023 is not over yet. The script, the photography, the action-packed scenes all stand out in the production. They weren't afraid to show the potentially disturbing, bloody scenes, they brought everything to the screen as it suits its genre. I really liked the historical background on which the story is based.

In reality, this period certainly didn't have many refreshing moments, but this series still managed to offset the many tragic, sad, and unfair events with a little humor and the right amount of romance. The show contained minimal clichés. The action scenes were very well executed and the actors and actresses formed their characters very well. I couldn't name an actress/actor who played her/his role badly or didn't fit her/his role. Caracter of Eon Nyeon Yi and the actress who plays her Lee Ho Jung, who would definitely be highlighted and is a real gem of the show, but Kim Nam Gil,
Yoo Jae Myung, Lee Hyun Wook and Lee Hyun Wook also provided an excellent work with many memorable moments. Overall everyone did a good job without exception.
In my opinion the story could have lasted more than the nine episodes, I'm sorry that it was shortened so much compared to the original plan, apart from a few clichés, this is the only negative thing about the production for me.

I know, few people like the western genre, but I strongly recommend them to watch it, because despite the show's genre, it offers a very special experience. What I would definitely mention and highlight is the music, which is a hit, perfectly helping to make the whole show even more effective and memorable.
Perfect OST, great acting and direction. I am so grateful to the whole staff and and all of the castmembers for this show!!!!!
