it is a difficult novel to adapt (e.g. Rose is only described throught the eyes of men, there is no "male lead", etc.) This production failed greatly in attempting to do so. Plus so annoying that some scenes with Rose use music very similar to "Meet yourself" in order to positively influcence the viewer on the back of the former well received show and thus trying to overshadow many of its shortcomings. As great as Yifei is as an actress - her portraying a student is not convincing at all.
the show is meh meh, not bad not good. The reason I came here today is to underline and emphasize what a GREAT actress 钟楚曦 Chuxi Zhong is. A joy to watch. Also, growing fonder of Gao Zhi Tings acting.
