W Oldboyu gosc mial powod zeby mu odwalilo - tyle lat odizolowany od ludzi i nawet nie wie czemu, w Hwayi to po prostu socjopata z urodzenia. Brakuje mi tego troche w koreanskim kinie, zawsze jakos usprawiedliwiaja tych zloli, a przeciez w zyciu nie zawsze tak jest, ze tylko ci z patologicznych srodowisk, pokrzywdzeni przez los staja sie zli.

Co do Hwayi - w sumie fajnie sie ogladalo, na poczatku dalam 8, ale dzien pozniej zmienilam ocene na 6... bo nie ma co ukrywac, film idacy znanym schematem, za duzo nowego nie wprowadzil. Aktorstwo bardzo dobre i bardzo mi sie podobalo, ze glowny 'baddie' nie mial jakiegos lzawego backstory, to po prostu psychopata. Lubie, jak czasem scenarzysci wyjda z tego utartego szlaku potwora stworzonego przez innych :)

Haha, of course as soon as I wrote that I couldn't find Alice's Thorn online, I found it :D I saw the first ep, but it was pretty unimpressive imo... The only character that had any potential was the role of Odagiri, but as you say, he's just a support. Weird, you say? I loooove weird! :D I'll check them out.

Exactly, I even surprised myself, but I am guilty of falling for the main male lead's smile, he's adorable! His acting is not that good, but he's a delight to look at :D

Me too, 50 eps of melodrama... I'm not sure if I'm ready for sth like that, even if the action is gripping constantly. But if I endure Empress Ki, I'll endure eveything :D

I saw your opinion on feeds about Lost Days, you certainly didn't make me want to watch this drama :D Detective dramas made in Japan are a hit or miss for me, some of them I love (like Strawberry Night) some are boring as hell (Unfair) or have ridiculous endings (Triangle).

Hwayi was pretty entertaining, I gave it an 8 at first, but then changed it to a lower score. The action was fast and interesting, but the plot was very cliche and at times pompous (and I hate that the most!!). But but, I see lots of 'completed' on your updates - were you just changing scores or did you have some kind of dramathone? :D

Co prawda swoja stonowana odpowiedzia nie sprzedalas mi w ciemno tej dramy, ale pierwsze 2 odc ktore widzialam byly calkiem spoko, wiec chyba ta drame obejrze w calosci :D Wlasciwie nigdy nie widzialam niczego z Lee Bum Soo, wiec najwyzszy czas to zmienic :D Jak tylko skonczy sie ta potworna Empress Ki i bede to mogla wyrzucic z listy to zabiore sie za to :D

Actually, I am watching, or more like sarted watching a few dramas, but it's just to check them out: Angel Eyes - I would never ever think I'd try this drama, because 1. makjang...? naaah, thank you, 2. chick from BBF whom I hated with a passion but I randomly saw the childhood eps and then decided to stick with it to see this atrocious Go Hye Sun and actually, she's not horrible, bad yes, but I can live with that. I'll wait and see if it's worth continuing.
Also, I'm still watching Secret Love Affair, altought I have to catch up on the new eps, and watched 2 eps of Giant because I wanted to watch sth with Lee Bum Soo and I'm thinking of watching it whole once I'll get rid of Empress Ki on my list :D Have you seen Giant? I'm curious if it's really makjangy in a stupid way or did they manage to make sth more watchable than average overdramatic drama.

And what about you? I see you are more in a mood for movies now? :)

Jesli chodzi o Eite, nie jest to z pewnoscia moja ulubiona jego rola, ale z pewnoscia jest to cos mega oryginalnego i niebanalnego.

I didn't even like Bridal Mask that much (mostly because of this girl, she annoyed the heck out of me), so I guess I would be horrified by Inspiring Generation :D I read some recaps and well, they weren't too kind fot this drama.

I haven't seen any teaser for Alice's Thorn, I have to change it as soon as possible! Thanks for the tips :D I'm really curious about Odagiri Joe, I haven't seen any drama/movie with him but people keep on praising him so I'll watch this drama mainly to see sth with him.

Co do Last Friends - calkiem ok drama, ale tematyka baaaaardzo oryginalna, bo to w sumie jak sie okazalo bylaa drama o zaburzeniach identyfikacji plciowej, molestowaniu, a na dokladke o przemocy domowej :D Wszystko w jednym, nie za bardzo moje klimaty, ale drama miala ten plus, ze wszystko jakos tak plynnie sie dzialo, wiec latwo sie ogladalo. No i ja oczywiscie dla Eity ogladalam :D

Szkoda, wszystkie lektury ekranizuja a tego nawet nie rozwaza :( Chyba ze autorka jest na tyle madra i przewidujaca, ze nie zgodzila sie na ekranizacje slusznie przypuszczajac, ze bedzie to jedna wielka chala.

Haven't seen neither Itazura, nor the remake and I'm pretty happy about it, I've seen the anime version though and it was atrocious (my opinion ofc :D). I don't get why this stupid concept (intelectually challenged girl stalks a cold son of a bitch who also is a bit of a sadist) is used so much, there were 2 j-versions, t-version and korean one. WHY?! :D

Inspiring Generation sounded pretty similar to Bridal Mask and I heard Jin Se Yeon's character had the same ending as in BM...? Another thing I don't understand is how does this girl get main roles? She sucks so bad :( You can't go back in time, time travel is sooo last year! :D

Btw, thanks to you I'm going to check out two new dramas I wouldn't hear about if not for your posts: Alice's Thorn (do I remember the title right? The one with Ueno Juri) and Golden Cross, they seem pretty interesting, so thank you D:
