I started with shoujo anime, but now I sincerely hate them :) But I don't have a specific genre in anime I like the most, my only condition is that they have to be, hmm mature, as in not silly and super-exaggerated. I've seen Blood+, it was pretty entertaining, how do you find it so far? And have you seen Monster? I sooo plan to watch it (heard so many praises about this one), but I'm a bit scared I won't be as amazed as the rest.

Btw I see you've watched Confessions of Pain! I want to watch it (duuuh, Tony is there!), is it any good? And wow, you've also seen Ashes of Time! This one is on my ptw list too, but there are little to none opinions about this movie ;(

Are you back to drama mood or do you still have no interest in them apart from Tenchijin? And oh, you watch anime? Have you seen anything interesting lately? I used to be a huge anime fan (I was seriously addicted to Gintama, lol), but lately I have no desire to watch them.

As for me, I've just watched House of Flying Daggers - it was pretty good, but I liked Hero better; in case of "House..." I found the plot to be lacking and focusing too much on romance, Hero imo had a lot more to offer. Thus, comparing those two movies I rediscovered my love for Hero and added it to my favourites :D But I'm starting to like wuxia more and more, next to watch in Crouching Tiger, can't wait!

As for your question, I have slumps every 2-3 months, lol :D When I have them I give up on dramaland completely and wait till my drama-craving comes back ;)

The thing is, nah, usually I do not like food dramas, that's why me liking Let's Eat is so bizarre. I plan to keep up with Empress Ki but I'll wait for 6 new eps or so to come so I can marathone them, I tend to fast-forward through this one a lot anyway ;D

Uh-oh, slumps are bad, I hate it when I have one of those days (or months!);( The best thing in my case is not forcing myself to watch, I just get back to western movies/tv series or read books or st, normally the craving for dramas comes back after such a break. Do you often have drama slumps?

btw congrats on deciding of your carrer path! ;) Forensic medicine is way cooler than neurosurgery in my book, but that's probably because I'm majoring in forensic psychology myself :P

I was planning to just check out k-drama Let's Eat because some people were recommending it, but well... now I can't stop watching! It's more like a silly rom-com, but somehow it's just what I needed now. No deep plot, just mindless fun with handsome men and delicious food :D And eps last about 45-50 mins, so it's a really fast watch.

What about you? How's Tenchijin?

I'm not hating it, but I was a bit disappointed, first season was great, this one was just ok for me, the jokes were less zippy, the cases less interesting... only Komikado was same old and brilliant.

Yeah, the twist at the end was pretty good, thank god they did it, because this season was a bit too sentimental sometimes, this big 'reveal' gave a feeling of surreality and absurd that is soo Legal High-style :D

Oh, I AM irritated by this guy, his smile is seriously creeping me out! But thanks to his super-bland personality I discovered how much do I love Komikado-sensei ;)

Yup, finished and loved it of course! ;) Gave it a 9, but it's because I absolutely loved the characters, the drama overall deserves more like an 8 imo (some scenes were too draggy and the who's the husband mystery was a bit too overbearing), but still, it landed in my faves, finally a k-drama that made me actually interested. I missed that! What did you thing about the end? I know you predicted it, but still, as a non-shipper you were, did you find it disastrous or great or so-so?

Actually, I haven't seen any Twilight movie or read any book - I've started both, in case of film I endured at most 5 minutes (wooden acting killed me), a book - well, one page was enough for me. But I'm not hating it either, everybody has some guilty pleasures, I absolutely love Stephen King's "Salem's Lot" even though I know this book is considered to be kinda cheesy and... bad :D
