People keep calling the ML the worst character because of his horrible choices throughout the series, but here’s the thing: everything he does actually makes sense because he’s just that STUPID. His decisions aren’t random—they’re perfectly in line with his character’s level of stupidness. You can’t expect any mastermind moves from a character who’s struggling to become a professor! This guy tried to bribe his way into that position but ended up losing all the money—money that was supposed to go toward his son’s surgery. It’s a total mess, and honestly, it just shows how clueless he really is!
I was actually excited to see a drama focused entirely on one case (which is tough to pull off), but they sure…
And the main leads' acting? Let’s just say they looked pretty uninterested—especially Lee Min Ki. It’s like he’d rather be anywhere else. Honestly, the only praiseworthy performances came from Seo Hyun Woo and Yoon Jong Seok.
I was actually excited to see a drama focused entirely on one case (which is tough to pull off), but they sure proved just how hard it is to build a whole series around a single crime.
I remember watching this as it aired, got about 5-6 episodes in, then totally forgot it even existed—only to later remember and realize it wasn’t worth the effort picking it up again. Part of it's on me, honestly. I don’t even watch melodramas or healing stories that much, but I still gave it a shot. It was boring. The only reason I stuck around for those 5-6 episodes was the mystery and psychological angle they had going with the second male lead.
Just realized Geon Oh is like Park Jeong Je but on worse level. In a way, it’s almost an inversion of justice—the one who had full awareness and could’ve chosen differently gets away with less fallout, while Jeong Je, who barely remembers anything, is left to pick up the pieces...................
I can’t believe they dragged it all out just to rush the ending. We didn’t even get a proper wrap-up for Eun Ha and Ji Hwan! The proposal was on screen, but they had the wedding offscreen? Really? And he’s still living with his gang? Where’s the privacy? He’s uber rich—why not get a new place for himself or his gang? Eye roll.
I just finished rewatching this masterpiece, and the ending really hit me—it’s both sad and hopeful. It hits you like a ton of bricks, so relatable to anyone, no matter what they do in life.
In the preview, why did Tae-su lie to Ha-bin about JS killing LSY?
Maybe he didn't want to tell HaBin that her mother suspected her of killing LSY so she buried LSY for HaBin...... I don't know what half of the characters have on their mind lol.
This is really Frustrating why no other OTT picked this up. it's not getting the reach it needs because of subtitles…
Right.. Paramount suck ass... and so does CJ Ent . Why couldn’t Studio Dragon have taken it on? T_T It probably would’ve been a hit if it were on Netflix!"
First of all, the previous incident happened what, 4-5 years ago? That's enough time for a person to get over…
I get that not everyone who experiences trauma develops PTSD, and it's true that people react to trauma in all kinds of ways. But it’s not just a TV trope—PTSD affects real people, and for those who do get it, it’s not something they can just 'grit their teeth' and get over. I was mainly commenting on how Dong Jae's reaction felt a little glossed over for someone who’s been through life-threatening situations. I get it’s a comedy, but a bit of realism would’ve made it more relatable! Still, I’m glad the show’s starting to dig deeper, especially in episodes 3 and 4.

Is this just pure melodrama or does this have some mystery or anything).

They all should take notes from SBS AND JTBC.
