I really hope The Trunk becomes such a massive hit that it makes people move on from Goblin. Whenever people think of Gong Yoo, they immediately associate him with Goblin, which irks me because of all the flaws it had, especially the downright creepy main romance. While it may have been praised for its cast and cinematography, it just didn’t resonate with me. Here's hoping The Trunk sets a new standard for romance and becomes the drama everyone talks about instead.
