It drives me crazy when writers let a character dodge justice by conveniently putting them in a coma or sending them to an asylum. It’s such a lazy way out and feels like a cop-out for real consequences!
Otherwise this feels perfect

I'm a fan of Bai Yu and Zhu Yilong, and their chemistry was the only reason I finished the series, but the plot was completely ruined.

Have you read the novel?

Literally 3 episode in, the production company went bankrupt and so the writer's stopped following the novel.
There was literally no costume department too....like most of the suits that Zhu Yi long wore were from his own closet...and other characters barely changed their outfits...

I will give the first two episodes a try.

Yeah, I like angst ..but I hate miscommunication/lack of communication..

Ugh, this doctor was acting like such a spoiled brat, and the congresswoman? She acts more like his mother than his wife, cleaning up after him and all. The way he threw a tantrum when she asked him to surrender—just disgusting. And it's obvious she's going down too. I mean, her aide completely botched the job of creating and destroying evidence. How could they not even check the phone properly? Honestly, if this is how she gets taken down, I can't say I'm sorry.
Honestly, she's a terrible person, so she totally deserves this.

Leaves you wanting more .
The series is going to end but there is not enough scenes of them.

I'm not typically a fan of romance, but if the plot is solid and the chemistry works, I'd definitely be interested in watching it.

What a let down.

I really hope The Trunk becomes such a massive hit that it makes people move on from Goblin. Whenever people think of Gong Yoo, they immediately associate him with Goblin, which irks me because of all the flaws it had, especially the downright creepy main romance. While it may have been praised for its cast and cinematography, it just didn’t resonate with me. Here's hoping The Trunk sets a new standard for romance and becomes the drama everyone talks about instead.
