So is there bromance?? I am about to start watching this.
I've only watched two episodes so far, but as a certified Bromance Enthusiast™️ (self-appointed, of course), I can already feel the bromantic vibes tingling in the air. It's like my superpower is detecting bromance before it even happens. The energy is surging, and I’m ready to ship these two before they even exchange their first meaningful glance!
I really loved Gyeongseong Creature, but I'm not sure if I'll enjoy season 2. What drew me to the first season was the 1940s setting during the Japanese occupation of Korea, and I loved how it blended fact and fiction. Now that the new season is set in the 2020s, I'm not as excited. The original storyline had them battling creatures and monstrous men without the advantage of advanced weapons or communication, which made it intense. I also loved almost all the characters from the first season, especially those from the House of Golden Treasure, and it's sad they won't be there this time. I'm pretty sure Master Jang is still around in the present (yeah a twist? ), but we don't know for certain, and he was the reason I watched the series in the first place. Still, I'll be watching the show because I'm a fan of Park Seo-jun and love Jang Tae-sang. Fingers crossed!
While this movie might not offer anything groundbreaking, it does deliver some angst that certain viewers might appreciate. From the beginning, you can sense that something is off, and as many have pointed out, the pacing feels slow until the big reveal. However, after the reveal, everything starts to click into place, and the reasons behind the female lead's actions become clearer.

One thing that puzzled me was why Jung Woo-sung's character didn’t make more effort to learn about the woman he’s going to marry. He doesn’t have anterograde amnesia, only retrograde, so it makes sense that he would want to know more about his partner, right? But that's just a minor issue.
I found it baffling why her brother and Suk-won’s partner insisted that Jin-young reveal everything to Suk-won. Seriously, do they not remember what happened the first time he learned the truth? Why should she listen to them? As his guardian, she clearly has more right and authority to decide what's best for Suk-won.
I did a rewatch and Yoon Ha Kyung was so useless, she could've been replaced by a potted plant and the plot wouldn't have changed. 😂 Still, what a great drama though!
Love scout 🤢
