I guess that's the way how the author keep the series alive for so long 😅. Xiaoge is so mysterious but very interesting characters, so we fans keep wanting to know more about him & keep up with the series. In the end we all become as curious as Wuxie.

Okay, so we're left with a bunch of new questions and story options after this movie.I absolutely loved the horror…
Considering this is supposed to be post 10 years promise/pre-rain village, I think the more cold Wuxie is appropriate. Still tianzhen but he learned more skill not to trust blindly anymore. I mean after sand sea Wuxie did shed some of his "weaker" side 😅.

Conjuring curse & mystic creed timeline is connected but is not directly adapted from the novel. So it's more like a standalone film rather than following the event in the novel.

Hahaha..the best bet is fans favourite Wuxie & little master bromance (well, Pingxie are still the biggest non canon China's titled "national couple" so..) Considering how the author always kill off every possible love interest of Wuxie. Or make them accidentally swore to be his blood sister lol

This isn't the Iron Traingle that I know 🤷‍♀️ I felt that they didn't have any chemistry whatsoever 🥺…
Pretty sure this series supposed to be after "10 years later" & before "sound of province". So in this point of story Wuxie pretty much already lost his "innocence"/"naïvety" & we got this stoic Wuxie. Although it's not confirmed or stated anywhere, this is my best take for this Wuxie.
