I get your point. Xueting is a pos ofcourse. I'm also looking forward to his comeuppance. Ngl ur initial reply felt like u were talking abt love problems which was completely unrelated to wht i said. Now i see the connection on how he could have implicated that japanese girl. But the thing is harm can be emotional too not just exact military punishment for wht they did wrong. Sure thing that japanese girl, pingjun n her mother might have faced punishment for aiding a spy but at the same time can u imagine how much hurt pingun cud hav caused her mother if she went about n just died? Even in the case of Xueting pinjun wasn't upset with him because his actions might have harmed her or her mother her main concern was that he did it all without care for ppl who r left behind if something happens to him. Nah in that case they could have worked together instead of keeping it a secret. And lu zhou would never hurt A'chou. Bitao definitely betrayed her whatever the reason maybe. Doesn't really advise or say anything to his so called friend but the minute the consequences are met he goes n lectures the victim saying "he doesn't know how to love".
