Exactly. I tried so hard to like his character but his sassy acting that obviously doesn't fit the character he's playing and his draggy way of speaking are so damn annoying i gave up. I could have put up with it if atleast he's handsome or pretty looking but he's below avg imo. I don't get the comments praising his "pretty" looks at all.
One thing I really love about this drama is that they didn't make A'chou some naive kind girl instead we got every bit a cunning badass who somehow still holds kindness in her despite the cruelty the world showed her.
Every time i think he might get better he only gets a lot worse. Atp there's no redemption for this story. No way they can make pingjun fall in love with him realistically after all this forced toxicity. What are they even trying to pull here? Just kill off everyone at the end n call it some bullshit tragic ending?
ML actor's mannerisms are so diva 💅🏻 it kinda feels odd with the arrogant cold ceo character he's playing. If u just look at the script it doesn't give off as sassy ceo at all. Every time he talks with a draggy voice and his face is also not it for me. It's medicorce. But other than that everything's so good n fun especially our handsome FL!
Wish they showed mengrui waking up. I'm guessing there'd be a season 2? Idk but the ending kinda felt unsatisfactory to me. I expected some interesting peak of plot but they slapped me with rows of death n called it a day. I'm all for emotional moments but isn't it a too much to use only that as a plot device for the actual ending? The in between mysteries felt more interesting than the finale arc tbh.

Apart from the cute n not so cringey romance this drama has so many plot holes.
For instance, his battery brought from US is apparently so good it could last his lifetime but after the mischap in surgery it goes down so fast but nobody's questioning it. 40 percent should hav lasted him for 40 years by their logic.
