See, I dont know about the novel because this is my first time even hearing about it. However, from my outside perspective why are the BL girlie's fighting so hard to keep BL elements between a 47 yr old man and 19 yr old boy. Mind you 19 is considered a minor in Korea. And even if it was in America its still very much ICK! Even though this grown ass man is trapped in a teenagers body, hes still a man who lived on this earth 47 years. Plus, you got other toxic manipulative elements being romanticized. The 19 yr old love intrest thinks he's in love with another 19 yr old, not a 47 yr old ghost thats possessing his crushes body.
I don't know, this seems to be an odd story to want to fight hard for. There's no amount of plot points that can get me to ignore the fact that y'all are OK with a 47 yr old predator pursuing and having relations with a 19 yr old as long as those LGBTQIA+ rocks can get off.
