No worries, to each their own. Yah, didn't have an ending that most would want, the goal was to be the queen, and she was getting there, and we all know she will, but they didn't give it to us, even though we just know she will get there. Lol. If you know what I mean. But there are definitely better ones than this. 😅

On the contrary, me having watch so many historical shorts, I loved the plotting in this, it's well thought out. The others tend to be sloppy or confusing. It is right to say that with historicals, they either go for the romance or for the plotting, so if your are biased to either, these historicals are definitely a hit or a miss. 😅 There are more historicals for you I am sure you'll like. 😊

Totally agree on actors gotta do what they gotta to earn. Plus the popularity of this vertical dramas is getting bigger, given the short attention span of people right now. And totally agree on the lesser restrictions on these vertical dramas too, so they have more freedom per sé, and can get off the norm yet still consumable, but audience would still arguably forgive it's ridiculousness, since they have lesser budget too.

Seems so.. I did watch a historical one of him just recently. Seems more Short C-Drama actors are delving into Vertical Dramas now..

I like Jin Zi's acting. But the story is unbearable and common sense just flew out the window. I know it's low budget, but you can have bad cinematography but still have a good story. I nearly dropped it. 2ML more handsome tho. 😅
