I think the major lesson from this series is have a mind of your own and choose good friends. Cus Shan Shan is a broken e person who is used to games and gave those advice to Zhang Yi who is dating someone that doesn’t like games. I think why he’s so pissed is cus he gave her several chances to come clean. He knew there was something she was hiding but he was willing to still be with her cus he trusted her. He had issues with communication yes, but Zhang needs to realize that she was a worse person in the relationship and grovel small. All he wanted was for her to grovel a bit. Like what Yi Yang said, she kept talking bout work,work,work, after crossing the line. That’s bound to make Shi Yi feel used.
