The way Park Seo Joon portrayed his character suffering at the hands of Japanese colonizers made me tear up. That one scene when they are beating Jang Tae Sang and he asks an officer for help only to receive none. His expressions of helplessness were so heartbreaking. Such a brilliant actor. I feel like he has very sad looking eyes, and that adds depth to his portrayals of such kind of characters.
