I don't think there was an actual confirmation. There just was news about a production agreement with a city. So clearly they were planning for a second season. But there no official announcement or sign they progressed past pre-production.
I was worried that we might not get the promised s2 because of low viewship but.I just realised that s2 might…
I don't think so. The filming period for My Lovely Journey was from May 23, 2023 to September 28, 2023. In July 2024 there was news about Mungyeong City signing a production agreement with Big Ocean ENM. I assume for a planned second season.
So it doesn't seem like they filmed the entire show at once to split it later. (20 episodes in 4 months would be very unrealistic as well.) And I am not sure when they could have filmed season 2 after that. I am not following the actors close enough to know their schedules. But I do know that Kim Jae-young was busy filming Judge from Hell in 2024. And both are filming new dramas now.
I am confused. Why go for hard to obtain regulated drugs when carbon monoxide exists?
I guess to have a peaceful clean death. But I do agree. It feels like they are making this very complicated. Especially when at the end she had to suffocate the guy anyway lol
DISCLAIMER: This is my PERSONAL opinion.I watched 3 episodes – and I'm incredibly disappointed. The characters…
Yeah it just feels like a bunch of wattpad scenes strung together.
Like many wattpad stories this drama requires you to already be a fan of the couple going in. In the drama they do little to get you invested. There is the school backstory where they are just in love all of the sudden. The idol - bodyguard dynamic can be fun but what makes that trope fun is the slow burn and tension. The professional distance that needs to get crossed. We don't get that here because they are already in love from the start. I really think it would be so much better without the backstory.
The comments here are pretty baffling to me. Everyone talking about how this drama has such nice, warm, calm and cozy vibes. Look I am the first one to sign up for the slice of life healing drama this show will hopefully turn into at some point. But so far the first two episodes were non stop drama about her failed idol career, how she has to put up with her shitty pd boss, gets fired, tries to get her job back, gets constantly mistreated or bullied and all kinds of other overdramatic stuff.
What about it was giving "warm, cozy and comfort"?
Bruh the title of this series is so historical romance 😭 When I first saw the article, idk but my mind was…
It's an adaptation of a webtoon and the webtoons of that genre are all set in this fictional European medieval inspired world. The kdrama is just turning it into your usual sageuk.
Facts, but personally the makjang is not really bad rather it allows for character development for the ML so im…
Would they really? I understand they want to make it about a kpop star to check that box. But would anyone really miss the shenanigans with his agency?
