That sex/nudity scene was very much unnecessary.
Congratulations you missed the point.

Prefer K-dramas the way they are. So sick of western dramas throwing in gratuitous sex scenes I just end up fast…
Why does there have to be a reason? That is a rather sad utilitarian approach to art or entertainment.

Hate ML with a burning passion (NOT the agtoe THE CHARACTER). OH he die and painfully. Not only a cheating prick…
First of all it doesn't make sense to call it cheating.
And second there is literally a scene where a maid gets picked to make clear that these women don't have a choice. Are you even watching the show?

Are sex scenes sexy?
No most of them are very uncomfortable and it's baffling how half of mdl manages to miss the point.

I think it will be more about her holding the kingdom together and securing the lineage with her son as the next…
Also supported by the title of the drama as I just realized haha

lol. The entire problem is that the queen wants her family to be stronger than the king. Using her family to help…
Sure but the queen's family was also the one helping him to ascend. He was veeeery far down in the line of succession.

anyone can explain to me why youngsil title is princess?
It's not. They were referring to the woman they dragged out in the middle of the night.

I’ve been preaching that this entire comment section 😅You will not regret. This current series is just for…
No the commenter is full of shit.
There is nothing sexualized about the show. If anything most sageuks are desexualized because it's simply true that kings and princes had many concubines.
It certainly isn't "for porn lovers". There is nothing sexy about the sex scenes. In one he picks a maid for the night and she obviously has no say in it. In fact she should feel honored. As you can imagine the sex scene was rather terrifying and uncomfortable. As for the royal consumation with the queen she is literally asked to just lay there, no touching allowed and don't make a sound. Meanwhile you have old court maids sitting outside with a fucking rooster doing some ritual and reminding them of the rules. Not exactly sexy.
If you want to know the role of women in Joseon this show does a better job than 99% other sageuks.

All that said. Yeah watch King Of Tears. But I would maybe do it the other way around and maybe watch it after this.

the way this drama is revealing the whole perspective of women that time , and how their value , worth and right…
Yeah. People should watch this as a sequel to your typical sageuk romance where the prince ends up with the lucky girl... Yeah right.

It has always irrked me how so many dramas are completely distorting the history and the role of women in Joseon.

Now many Korea media confirmed Cha Joo Young scenes are body double/CGI, also Lee Yi Dam sexy scenes are a little…
This is your 20th comment of the same nature. What is your point?

Will the queen ever going to take revenge from King cause as per historical record queen won't be able to do anything…
I think it will be more about her holding the kingdom together and securing the lineage with her son as the next king who has a legacy of being a great one. ML also abdicates early in favour of their son so in the drama she might have pulled the strings there.

I asked the same thing, but ppl think it's just their story and no changes. Tbh i think we all expect revenge…
I mean the story with the dad is already quite different.

Didnt liked E1 at all. The episode felt messy and all over the place, making it difficult to follow what was happening…
maybe you shouldn't watch on hitv lol

Honestly, even though the plot seems interesting, the main reason I will be watching this is because of Cha Joo…
Yeah. And if we are being honest there would be a harem situation in any of these historical kdramas. They just always choose to ignore it when they make a "prince falls in love with his maid" drama.

why my mister in particular lol, what bearing does this drama have on that?
It's just the first drama that came to mind because it topped the mdl ratings for a long time. It has always been regarded as some kind of gold standard on the site. Anyway the idea that WTPR is anywhere to close to that level is ludicrious.

People after watching those awful episodes 3 & 4 were really like "8.8 isn't high enough. Let's push it further and catch My Mister" huh
