Too Dragging

I really found this drama to drag out, it was like there were struggling to get there point across, and for me there was too much wasted screen time and unnecessary plots and twists ... " Sweet Munchies " was a frustrating drama.

And that is mainly due to the two main characters that were annoying, each one in their own way. For the girl, she was way too naïve, forgiving, and positive to be even considered cute. the most irritating was the chef. Sure, he had his reasons in the beginning for doing what he did, but he just kept lying, and acting selfishly throughout the whole drama. He was just unlikeable, the rest of crew were there just for added space I would assume. The story for me was really not worth exploring, I mean was it really necessary to have a gay chef, who actually wasn't gay to begin with, I think for me that was the ultimate let down. There were some funny moments in this drama, but not enough to keep me invested in the whole drama, this could have been shortened or made into a movie cuz 12 episodes of literally pointless plot and an hour long of watching was just to much for this drama.

There were some episodes I skipped just to get to the end of this drama, and believe it or not you literally don't miss anything that is how slow it was.

Definitely a NO for me.

Choppy

This started off really well the beginning of this drama and I was like Wow and sitting up straight, after the tad bit scene it was down hill after that, it was so disappointing, to have such a tease in the beginning!!!

Well the beginning was definitely an attention grabber and rarely seen in BL, but this ended up feeling like click bait, after that it was literally pointless and quite honestly baseless, there was no real story behind it and cinematography was really choppy and even dark at some parts the camera man did not have a steady hand at all, the sound was poor to the point of non existent at times, it was like it was filmed through a phone instead. There was a lot room for improvement, the actors were all over the show and again non of them made any sense. After such a good start its just goes downhill and then it just Stops with no ending and no real reason as too what transpired.

If you want a watch a whip lash drama then this is it, you literally have your head spinning around!!!

Overall it was not good

They Tried ... But a Cliffhanger ending

Okay so this drama was not what I had expected, thought they would have a continuation from the 1st one, but sadly this went in a whole different direction then expected.

The storyline was for me to the point, it kind of flowed through and was the pacing was just right, they needed to find out what happened to everyone, and so they just went ahead and got on with it, there was no drag and think and contemplate of what to do next, or how to do it.

The characters were sort of well matched, I was surprised to learn of Kim being a mono as well, I honestly thought it was only his sister, so that kind of made more interested to see where they go too, the acting of Yoo-jun (playing Choi Yeon-woo) remains as one of the solid points of both seasons. In the first season he deals with the fact that he is a mono, his mother is also a mono but is missing, and he finds new friends and also finds Yoo-han who is also his probe. He experiences the rush of being able to see colors and also the disappointment of losing that ability after the decoloring effect begins. In season 2, he goes from the uncertainty of his mother still being missing, to the dread of witnessing Yoo-han's kidnapping, to the potential of uncovering all the illegal activities the Gray Scale/Woksun/Nerve Candy people (led by a mono that goes by the nickname of "Monowife"), to dealing with his new feelings towards Kim Se-hyun, to finally finding out his mother did die but being rather calm about it.

The music was not so bad, although it was only the one main song.

Overall: This did end with a cliff hanger and the so it begs the question of a Season 3 Coming, if that is so I really hope they get the right production, and screw up the story between the 3 guys?

Basically watch it if you enjoyed the first season, but do not have high expectations on this season.

Overcoming Difficulties

Each short episode packs a lot of story and some parts may seem out of sequence, the consist flipping between the past and the present, you get a feel for the story and where its heading. I for one don't get anyone giving this high reviews - like yeah to each their own... but this plot had promise, but it didn't really develop to anything, and i felt that the actors also fell short, first off Li Xiang just comes off as a stalker, he latches onto Xia Zhi the sec he sees him and just turns into his shadow but he is too forceful and I also find that he seems to have had a pattern considering he did the same thing with PE Teacher as well. Also when he was brought to a gay bar, he is more worried if its age appropriate not even noticing that its only guys and what that means - so it felt like Li Xiang was manipulating the situation and Xia Zhi.

Also the kid that was being bullied and his side story - there was more there that held my interest and heart, then with what was going on with the leads - but everything was kinda rushed and wrapped up in the last episode - just cause it was the last episode and we needed a happy ending. it lacked logic or common sense and left me wondering WTF... this doesn't come close to being a good BL.

Overall: I wouldn't recommend this at all

Not a BL but a Friendship based

Okay I honestly thought this a BL, but its more a friendship based story.

Even though the story is a little less plausible, however the chemistry between two main characters that was built slowly from the very first episode yielded maximum results until the end. No matter what “they called”, bromance or what so ever, but the love story amongst of those two (Yi You and Yi Ling) were very clear especially when their eyes met. ? BL's in China will, for a long time to come, have to contend with censorship laws. But those producing BL-based series are getting rather good at circumventing the censorship laws. Sure, we are not going to see kissing scenes, not to mention passionate bed scenes, but the strong romantic feelings can still be craftily portrayed. A series like Precise Shot can still capture a segment of the BL market because the love portrayed is innocent and pure whilst being quite intense at the same time.

The show was quite enjoyable to watch. It's a quick series (movie length long). The characters and plots was straight forward yet interesting.

Overall: its a sweet bromance drama, that can watched in one sitting.

Drive and Courageous, mixed a determination

Once again this was a really short and sweet drama, it showed drive and determination in order to get what you what you need to focus and go for it, it also showed how tough it is being a single independent child who is trying to pay off pay debts that were left behind and the extend he had to go through in order to pay it off.

The plot of the drama was really basic, nothing to wrap your head around, the characters were matched and did have some chemistry the running well that just made me tired (lol), but all in all it was a drama that could be watched when you literally have nothing else to do.

With “Where Your Eyes Linger” still fresh in my mind I was so ready for another amazing Korean bl, and “Mr. Heart” didn’t disappoint. I feel like they could’ve had a better name though, maybe something do with running...but that’s besides the point. I just finished this drama, and let me tell you, I’m still recovering from the huge amount of adorableness in this drama.

Overall: , this is a fluffy drama that could've done well without the gangsters debt plot that didn't do anything to the relationship between the main leads.

Really Cute

The story beautifully portrays a growing relationship between two young men with completely different careers. Their opposite personalities added depth to their characters, and I love how they helped each other develop. I would also mention how I really liked that they added a character that depicts a “confident gay” as I may say without hesitations or whatsoever when it comes to what he truly likes (no more “I do not like men, I only like him” lines which irritate me, I guess haha). It felt like they were existing in a world where homophobia does not exist, and they just took everything casually.

I went into it not expecting much, but thankfully it was good, the characters were well matched and suited each other, the plot there is not much to it, the kiss scenes were not so good, basically just putting each other lips together, the story also shows a glimpse of the entertainment/showbiz industry. The struggles of living a normal life as an actor and the realities of the controversies they get involved in. Also shows how media can be deceiving, and how it affects the lives of celebrities. although i feel that they could have explored this more as this is always a norm amongst showbiz and the actors/actress.

It was really short and sort of got to the point or the point came across really quickly, you could have figures out basically from the fist episode what is going on.

Overall, this drama is very good in my opinion and probably my favorite among the recent ones that Korea has produced (Color Rush, WYEL, Mr Heart, Wish You). I fell in love with the cuteness of the plot and I really wish it was longer. Nonetheless, this is good and it made it into my favorite's.

ADULT VIEWING

It's not just a BL drama, it's much more; a raw and delicate story at the same time, sad and exciting, like life itself. the erotic scenes are exquisite and have made my whole body tremble.

Although I did prefer the fist franchise to this story, this was just as good, the erotic scenes were really good, and the chemistry between them were excellent. Both of these dramas have deep meaning. The first one honestly left me puzzled in some ways. This clears it up and additionally adds so much more meaning to the character Kijima Rio. I still recommend watching this one second and not first however. Both of these dramas have deep meaning. The first one honestly left me puzzled in some ways. This clears it up and additionally adds so much more meaning to the character Kijima Rio. This also explained all his actions in the prequel movie The Pornographer. How he longed for Kuzumi but was trying to make him go away once he realized how Kuzumi should be focusing on himself and his future.

Overall I didn’t expect to like this but I did. I really really adored the character of Rio. And Im so glad he finally got someone who TRULY LOVED HIM, KUZUMI !!!

Extremely Short !!

This was a really short series of 5 different couples.

First Couple : Though I do love this couple Off / Gun, this story showed that one can not judge a person not unless you have walked in his/her shoes. And this specific episode, took it in the literal sense which made them both appreciate the sacrifices they had to make just for the other.

Second Couple: This showed never wait to long to profess your love, or if you have feelings for someone to express them, instead of keeping them in. For me this was an okay kind of couple.

Third Couple : I truly did not enjoy this short story, mainly because the cast didn't seem quite right, I did like all the supporting crew but the main could just didn't quite fit for each other, also the game they played was really childish especially since they have been in a relationship for three years already.

Fourth Couple: This was my absolute favorite couple of all time, these two showed us, that we should take each other for granted, and just because we are together you tend to let the love slide or get in a comfort zone, and take each other for granted. I like how Kao came up with some of the ideas, even he did lie to start off, but a little white lie to spend time with your love i could possibly let that slide.

Fifth Couple: Again this was not really my favorite, since i did find it hard to finish Sotus to start off with. however, this couple did show us that is meant to be will be and nothing can be forced.

Each of these couple showed us little things we take for granted in life or even in our relationships.
The acting of each of these couples were okay for me, nothing to great or fantastic but nothing bad either.

Overall: its a quick set of short stories and a good reminder to life every day challenges.

Freaking Funny

Oh wow this really funny and so freaky.

This is one of the first drama that I could honestly say I enjoyed with Saint, as I am not really a big fan of his, but this was done so good, and I enjoyed it, even though at times I had to take cover, when the some of the freaking scenes came on, the special effects in this drama was on point and so done so good, those zombies were so real looking and the make up was done on point.

The story was good in the sense of an out body experience, and for me this drama was just super cool and funny to watch, it is real light hearted and easy to pick up and follow.

Overall: this drama was on point and funny

Courage, Determination & Friendship

This drama had all the above, and it was really good to see that.

Though this is not a BL, but more a long the line of a bromance, and a bit of love triangle, it is still worth the watch.

The diving and sports side was really good, if you into sports drama, and of course seeing men shirtless doing incredible dives is always a plus in my books. The friendships are incredibly well developed and the chemistry is off the chart, the courage to keep going when things really got bad and hard, the stand up for each other when they got knocked down and there was a bit of romance, heartbreak and determination to keep going at the final competitions despite the risks of losing one sight.

Overall this is a really inspiring drama and enjoyable to watch through.

Cross Dressed ...

Okay so this drama, took me awhile to get through it, mainly because there were really some frustating episodes where you like really!! I had no idea what to expect going into it. And the little things I did expect were completely shut down.

There’s just something about it that kept me watching.

I started watching when there were already eleven episodes out. I kept telling myself, “This is a good place to stop. I’ll do something else, I’ll go to sleep, and I’ll finish tomorrow” and then I’d finish the episode and hit the next button and the process would continue until I was caught up with the lives. It was so freaking cheesy. Like every possible cliche happened within the first episode. The entire drama was like this, but it didn’t bother me because I thought it was hilarious. I know some people get annoyed with cliches though, so I’m letting everyone know now.

I really love gender bend stories. I know it's cheesy but when a man is questioning his sexuality, because he seems to like him/her in a special way, first of all it is hilarious and secondly it just holds the truth that love is blind, it has no boundaries.

Overall This drama was a 50 / 50 watch, for me, mainly because of the cheey cliche and them trying to make it thorugh to her birthday, which by the way literally took up the whole drama.

Still leaft with Unanswered Questions ....

Well I must admist I did kind of expect alot of this special, but was left a bit disappointed.

Coming back after 3 years, I was expecting to see how they have developed and grown with each other, but sadly that was not the case. Leo and Fiat, got the most screentime from them (of course), but apart from fluff and some sexy moments, nothing happened plot-wise. They came back from London and hung out with their friends. That's kinda it. Cute, but not much else.

I was hoping to see more of Leaon/Pbob and see how they resolved the relaationship, but they hardly had any screen time at all which was kind of sad, (hopefully, they have own story coming up, instead of leaving us hanging?)

Leon/Pbob relationship that was left unresolved, and it was this that I had the most hopes for (big mistake). We got maybe 5 minutes of screentime total for these two (we got to see more of Leon than Pob, but in regards to them talking/thinking about their relationship, it was like 5 minutes), and they never interacted with each other, they were like passing in the winds, which was really annoying and frustating to say the least.

Overall, it was not a bad special, but they could have taken they time with it and give us a bit more in depth to both the characters and how they grow and develop and find one love again.

I know I did score higher than normal, maninly becuase I had just come off watching the actuall series, and was really hoping for from the special, If I had to give my honest score I would probably say maybe a 2.5.

Low Budget ....

Why I even watced this is beyon my understanding ...

It was really terrible in my opion, Low budget is literally putting midly, the actors were not well matched the sound effects was so poor, and meng yao was so annoying wasting 10 years of her life on someone who absoulty no interest in her at all, the music was not one that you could add to your playlist.

By the 7 episode i literally had to start fast wording just to get this over with.
Was this the best thing I have ever watched?
Nope.
Will I watch it again? Nope,

Overall, it feels like someone had a personal story to tell, needed some plot to set it in and this is how, the further you go, the better it gets. Plot wise at least, acting has it's moments but it's not the strong side.

Dance away

This drama was okay, I liked that it was mature. However it a slow start and it feel like it was dragging out.

The story was not well excuted, i just feel that the story line should have been a bit balanced out, and made more interesting, the actors were not bad, but they lack chemistry. Its one of those drama you could watch if have a couple of hours of bordem, and need to pass time.

The one good thing about this drama was the music, it was really good, and often came in atbthr right time.

Also I didn't get to see thatb much dancing, from the name inwas really expecting some footloose or flash dance, but instead we got snapshots of a made routine that didn't seem to go with the story line, also who on earth runs through snow barefoot, and not get frost bite? Or get cold period, his feet must have made of ice or something. Why did the mother abandoned him, it just felt like they are more question than answers.
