DO and Kim Seon Ho both have such great comedic presence👍🌹With all the outstanding support actors and humorous dialogs this drama is wonderful so far (ep 10)! mostly FF the palace politics scenes (not a fan of those)…and dreading the 12-16ep based on the comments. We shall see…

I see your point of view but I see it differently. The real test would be if NY called him from her phone and see if he even picked up. In any situation circumstances matter. HJ called him and he showed up not knowing what NY might be telling HJ etc.
Thanks to this review I really want to watch this drama 😅(and subscribe to Hulu just for that). With your explanation about ratings in SK, it makes much more sense now why some shows I like didn’t get as good viewership rating…
Oh.. Hong Jo knew (subconciously) Shin Yu doesn’t like bracken in ep3 because he was bitten by a snake in his past live… “I am groot” scene makes more sense now… I bet when our girl remembers everything, she’ll set things straight… 😅
One thing I couldn’t understand - why Hong Jo was so upset when Shin Yu showed up after she called him from the restaurant where NY passed out? Wasn’t it obvious that he was worried for HJ herself and not coming to save that fake girlfriend of his. That scene confused me…

My thoughts exactly!!! 😅🤝 I honestly cannot rate any of the Korean dramas I watched lower than 8.5 because of what you mentioned: the effort of all those writers,actors and crew. Compared to western shows these are all incredible. Truly admire them. We (as viewers) got so spoiled. 🤣😅
This show has a tight grip on me... BUT, oh boy, the past two episodes were a bit painful to watch.. The editing of ep 9 felt rough and now these misunderstanings in 10..... First of.. the talk of "purity" makes me super uncomfortable - isn't it kinda given?! If you confess/accept - aren't you supposed to NOT agree to go on a "couples' outing" with your colleague and from the other side supposted to be SHARING such important fact as «temporarily keeping a break up secret» with your new (aka "old") love?!! Yes, you can keep it a secret with everyone else, but share it with one single precious person!! Ugh! Even in the end-misunderstandings clear- poor Hong Jo and Shin Yu don't get a break... By the end of the show, that psycho better be locked up in a mental institution.. Bottom line- still loving it and rooting for our lovebirds. Their chemistry is off the charts. Loved the cafeteria scene - SY's expression when NY joined their table- outstanding! And the sweetest character is SY's mom. 🌹

I so agree with you. Wached Rowoon in many other dramas - he was memorable but thought of him “just another pretty face” of the Korean drama industry. Even In Kings Affection which I liked so much his role was bland. Here he is absolutely crushing it. I admire his talent to show emotions and thankful to the writing team as well.
