Excuse me! Can I bother you?Can you tell me? Which episodes that Mei Nieng pregnant with Li Zhi? Because Episodes…
From what I remember, there wasn't much romance to begin with, so maybe that's why they didn't show us anything. I remember being a little bit confused as well at that part so that's my guess. You're welcome!

If I'm not mistaken they slept with each other right after the first emperor's death but there wasn't really a scene or anything. I also didn't really feel like Mei Niang was in love with Li Zhi. She loved him but not romantically in my opinion, if that makes sense. Or she learned to love him later when she became an empress. I hope, that I answered your questions :)
I really liked the first half of the drama but later episodes got a little bit too messy so now I have mixed feelings about it. But overall, I enjoyed watching it (thanks god, they didn't make it longer). The acting was good and I loved the forest setting. And the OST was amazing! I loved every single song.
with this cast i didn't expect this to be such a waste of time tbh
i finally finished it and i want to say that it was torture even with psj in it.. 16 ep show without plot... i'm never gonna trust mdl scores again lol
Yes, I started watching this drama only because of Ji Chang Wook. He didn't disappoint but I also can't say that it is his best drama. Honestly, in my opinion, it started off so good but the cringy romance and Anna's character kinda ruined the experience for me. I feel like the ending was a bit rushed and didn't give me the satisfaction I craved for. Plus, Anna is just the typical damsel in distress who only cries non-stop and causes problems to ML because of her stupidity. I get it, it was the main idea and she was written that way for the plot but damn, I almost hated her. I have to admit though, Choi Yoo Jin's character carried the whole show for me and I was watching the second half of the drama only for her. Yes, she was the villain but I really felt sympathy for this woman. That's why I'm so disappointed with the way they ended her story (and they made her ending too predictable tbh). Overall, I can say that this drama is not 10/10 and not a must but it has nice OST and amazing woman villain (with a beautiful smile). And it has Ji Chang Wook. So if you have time and have nothing better to do, give this show a chance. Thankfully, it's not that long and has only 16 episodes.
Okay, I finally did finish this show. Not going to lie, I was a little disappointed because I was expecting main lead to be other type of woman and not that Mary Sue girl. I expected her to be cunning and cruel if it was needed to get what she wanted (okay, at least she was a bit like this in the last few episodes). I also wanted to see some historical accuracy but I had to accept the truth and just continue watching it if not for the story but at least for beautiful women and dresses. The show itself was aesthetically pleasing to watch. Boring and too dragged at times but I got used to it. The enemies and schemes were more interesting in the beginning in my opinion.
Overall, I gave it 8/10 because in the end they had a few powerful scenes and actually had managed to make me tear up a little. I mean, this gave me chills:
"Where are my enemies?" "Dead" "Where are my friends?" "Dead, as well"
btw, I still love the opening
If you want to watch this, just drop your expectations and accept that it's just another fictional romance story and you will be fine.
Whew, it's been three years and I'm finally done. If you consider watching this drama I strongly advise you to reconsider. I have to admit that the first part was okay, the chemistry was good and the actors did a good job. But even good acting couldn't save the second part. 42 episodes were too much for this story. It became extremely boring. I think like it had all stupid drama cliches possible. In the end I didn't feel sympathy for any of the characters because of their stupid actions and decisions. The last 20 minutes were a complete disaster. Overall, it was a waste of time. I'm disappointed. Gave it 4.5/10 because of Huang Xuang's acting.
