Final thoughts: This was such a good series for me. It was so sweet and I loved all the couples in the end. For majority of their first series as main characters, I think the boys did great. Can’t wait to see this new generation of actors in the future
I know there’s a lot of fans for KenPaul and ChokunAston who support them so just want to show some extra love to LukeMick. I got a soft spot for them after watching some clips of them. I can’t wait to see their growth and hopefully they can get a bigger fanbase as well in the future like the others
I think GMMTV sees everyone’s potential since we already have a micro series one week after the final ep. So hopefully this means they’ll all be official couples soon 🙂↕️
KitShane: I feel like Shane not getting the scholarship can be a pivotal point in his growth. Now he can not lock himself in a box but rather explore more options. I did feel really bad for him because of all the time he put into it for this one thing (not a good idea to have one plan!!). My heart broke everytime he cried .. Love how comforting Kit is by always saying the right thing and letting him know it’s fine to be scared. They’re both so mature and their communication skills is top tier.
Edit: also Luke’s facial expressions were killing me this ep 😂😂 Kit was so over Shane’s shenanigans. Luke is showing to be a very versatile actor, can’t wait to see him in more stuff in the future
KimMon: I always felt like they rushed into their relationship without knowing each other properly and it’s the cause of their minor problems now. This episode really shows that because how did Kim not know his boyfriend may be bi 😩😩. These two really have to take the time to talk more instead of just flirting and smiling at each other lol. I do think Kim needs to be more honest because realistically it’s because he holds back saying things to Mon, most of his problems arise. Mon seems like he’d be up to talk as well but only when it’s brought up. I like that Kim still never held any suspicions about Mon but was genuinely just jealous and insecure lol. Like hun, that’s literally your boyfriend, just speak to him about your worries instead of stressing At the end of the day all the couples resolve their problems quickly but it’d be nice to see them avoid it in the first place lol. Side note: hope to see Chokun in better roles outside of high school roles because I see he has potential.
I thought the ep 11 curse was going to be in ep 10 tbhh but there’s still more crying to come based on the trailer so I’m wondering what else is coming up. With two more eps, I’m hoping they can end it off in a good manner because now it’s looking like they’re just stretching to reach the 12 ep cap 😩

Lol and no my first introduction to him was when I started watching this series. I don’t follow his brother either. Based on interviews, his cast mates say he’s hardworking and focused so I just repeated what they said. So, no me giving him some grace is not because of who he is, but rather just because why not? He has time to grow

Thoughts on ep9: Mon was really mean this episode laughing at Kim with his team and I felt sooo bad for Kim ☹️… I kind've saw this conflict building up since they got together in the beginning with no interests in common and Kim taking on Mon’s persona to get him to like him more.
As much as he’d hate to hear it, Mon’s unfortunately kind of like his mother 🫣. Glad they spoke in the end and it’s finally been addressed how Kim needs to just be himself because idk if I could’ve taken it any longer. Besides the cute moments, no one mentions how their relationship has been kinda giving dysfunctional. I think they got together unrealistically fast without even really getting to “know” each other. I’m glad a conversation was had because I thought it would’ve been ignored.
I love how domestic and comfortable KitShane are with each other. It’s even more sweet how Shane seems to be taking more time to appreciate Kit as well. Hearing him say Kit made something he thought was meaningless a meaningful memory and reiterate that he was proud of him, I’m sure meant a lot to Kit. Their chemistry and natural development as a couple is top tier tbhh. I love their story and hope they can become less underrated

My poor Shane... He actually made me feel even more sad for his character this episode. I understood his hesitance last week. But man feeling like he’s “bad” or doesn’t deserve being a model student because he did normal teenager things really put it in perspective. I really blame his upbringing and parents because he clearly grew up too fast and doesn’t know that normal teenage experiences aren’t bad. He only knows that he has to be perfect because that’s how he supports himself sighh.. I’m glad teacher Nut was able to convey that it’s alright to not be perfect and how he tried in the end by letting Kit sleep over. Mick’s portrayal of this character is really good in my opinion. I can feel his confusion and hesitance and the subtle messages his body language gives
I love the messages this show sends because although Kit clearly wanted more, he’s very much understanding of his boyfriend’s boundaries and cares more about his comfort. He also didn’t pressure him and still let him know it’s alright. The sweet kisses killed me throughout this episode.
Luke’s acting and the subtle facial expressions are the best. I hope to see him in more series because he’s a gem tbh

Wasn’t expecting Per Tar to happen the way it did because I highkey thought it was happening off screen. I’m not mad though !! But the awkwardness was real but clearly their friendship is too strong to let that break them. But just a side note, Per is a really great friend for not letting Tar do that at that party. Even last week when he said drinking isn’t a competition. He has a really good head on his shoulders. All of these characters do and I love to see it

To be honest I’m really loving how they’re showing the realism of teenagers’ first love with Kit and Shane’s relationship and the healthy communication of guiding each other through it. I really understand Shane’ hesitance and not knowing how to act because I was the same way. I appreciate him trying speaking about his feelings though even if he had to use that drunk trick to do so looool.
