The saddest part of YG life is abandonment by both parents. Both parents escaped the old woman n left him behind. He now carries the burden of what of his parents left behind and has to deal with his grandmother's tyranny. Now that he is in love with LW, it's another hurdle he has to overcome as his grandmother is against lawyers n has already warned him against having a lawyer girlfriend n on top of that LW is his mom lawyer.

And how hard it was for her to escape that hell hole? The most poignant ending of that conversation is YG saying "but you left me behind there to face it all." Not sure if I got it correctly.
JingJing is lucky to have YG tpo help her and shield her or else she will live a very oppressive life like her mom. As it is, YG felt so suffocated by his grandmother though he loves both his mom n grandmother dearly.
It's kinda sad that even his mother admitted that it's hard for YG to forgive her as he grew up with neither parents' love. So basically he grew up with a big knot of an unwanted child. Can see that even at his age, he is badly affected by both parents abandonment through his talk show on father/son and now child/mother relationship. He was estranged from his father and he didn't know how to communicate or foster a relationship with his father when his father was alive. Him looking at the photo in his wallet - the only selfie he took with his father at the prompt from his father. He has a lot of bottled up resentment towards his mom especially after he learnt that what she didn’t give to him was given to her 2nd born.
His lashing at the boy's mother was very telling ..."If you feel he is not perfect in your eyes, then throw him away n have another kid - the one that will fit your criteria." It's kinda sad hearing him said that n he must have felt that way deep inside that he wasn't good enough for both of his parents.

So far from the episodes, we learnt that YG mom n father didn't care much for him whennhe was a baby. Acc to his aunt, his mom couldn't stand to look at him nor want to handle/feed him and after his mom left, his father couldn't stand to look at him or see him so his father often goes away. He was raised literally by his grandmother and his aunt. I wonder what happened.

So today's episodes while he was dealing with a case of mither n child, he saw that thus mother is attending a talk held by his mom. From this mother, he learnt that his mother is well known for raising a brilliant son/child that every mother envies and wants to know how she did it. Ouch! That must have hurt him a lot knowing his mom abandon him and then went on to raise another kid.
YG is very good at keeping on a nonchalant mask. I can imagine his childhood years growing up listening to his grandmother complaining n whinning about his parents especially his mother. The mask he learns to put on in front of his grandmother even though it must be hurting him so much to listen to her rant.
