Damn, I knew she'd be awesome in this role but didn't expect her to be THIS AWESOME! Those going back & forth…
Imagine if they had made Raba into a black demon 9 tailed fox as per book ... how more dark & menacingly she will look with that dark fog floating around her. 🤣🤣ðŸ¤ðŸ¤
Omg ... Raba is freaking awesome as Yunhe. I kept playing this scene over n over again. The way she turned into demon, her eyes, the looks darting at Shunde ... oh my ... now the naysayers who said Raba is just a pretty face and her acting is lacking depth ... "Go eat your shit!" Raba girl ... you show those nits. Raba definitely should get an award for the role Yunhe!
Well, watched the first 8 ep and the story is so so at least from a script perspective. Not really feeling the…
Well they are not supposed to be passionately in love like Snow n the cat. Yunhe fake love interest in Changyi to get his trust. Changyi is too naive in works of human. He finally believe in Yunhe after time and time again she showed concern and do things that one would misinterpret her actions. Yunhe is slowly falling for Changyi because if his trusting nature and kind heart but she doesn't know it yet.
I read the novel. Novel is indeed very dark, tortured and sad. I guess they have to adapt it for drama or else…
They were never raised as brother and sister. More like disciples and his father uses Yunhe to train him. So he grow up liking Yunhe as his best friend when they were little but after Yunhe pushed him off the cliff n he fell into the snake pit, their friendship ended as he felt betrayed by her. In the book, write gave me the feel that HaoQing has a complex feelings fir Yunhe - a mix of admiration, infatuation, brotherly love for her as like an older disciple, hatred because his father was always praising her and comparing him with her and slso his inferiority complex.
There are so many things in the novel that is different in the drama and because of that, I'm quite disappointed.…
I read the novel. Novel is indeed very dark, tortured and sad. I guess they have to adapt it for drama or else it definitely won't pass censorship. In the drama, they explained why merman tail will transform to legs n switch back to tail. Logic enough. As the episodes goes by, we can see that Yunhe conscience is pricked and she falls into grey lines between sincerity and needing to do what it takes to keep everyone alive.
To me, so far the drama adaptation is pretty good with a bit changes but still stick quite closely to the novel. It has its funny moments and dialogue yet still has its dark moments. It has a good balance.
In drama, we can see that HaoQing is torned between his one sided crush on Yunhe and his needs to prove to his father n his competitiveness to win, his hatred towards Yunhe.
In drama, they show Yunhe thinks alone on solutions n manoeuvre just like in the book.
I guess if they portray as per book, there will be a lot of people who might be put off or find it too dark, too angst, too cruel and sad to watch each episode after another especially during pandemic.
Here's link of picture diagram of who is who in the drama. Hope this helps.https://kisskh.at/photos/rAodm_3https://kisskh.at/discussions/yu-jiao-ji/71871-who-is-who-in-tbw-list-of-casts
I think she/he wants to know who is who in Ep 1. Well she can look at the diagram with pic n the the casts n she will know.
To simply put, it's about a demon master and the powerful Merman uniting to fight the evil ones and save the world.…
Yunhe was tortured a lot by stepfather and HaoQing and Princess Shunde so did Changyi during his captivity. Shunde's cruelty and the Master too was cruel.
She must be deadly blind or have not even watch the drama at all. 🙄🙄🙄🙄
Would be awesome to see the BTS of that scene.
Part 2 is all about Changyi n Yunhe if I'm not wrong. I read the novel quite some time back.
