No. When Soo Wan met HY then in Paris, Mr J do not know HY personally nor that she is the student he wrote SONO on the book . He only just helped to compile a portfolio to help her. He has not met HY at all. I don't think he n HY has connected that dot yet. They only know they are linked because HY bought his photo. When Soo Wan first met HY at her work studio, he was already engaged to be married to the girl his mother chose for him. He wasn't in love with that lady. It was an arranged marriage and he just went along with it as not to disappoint his mother. HY never knew the existence of SW fiance and she doesn't know much about his background. He avoided the subject of his family when she asked if he has siblings and he just distracted her from her question with something else.

Originally he wanted to break off with HY to honour the arranged marriage for his mother but Mr J told him he should pursue his happiness instead (if I remember correctly). Hence he told his mom in Korea n something happened between them that caused SW to drive desperately and in death speed to meet HY after that. We don't know what transpired between the mother and SW that night.

She was the fiancé of Soo Wan. She got his phone after he passed away. Wedding invitation card is hers n Soo Wan. Soo Wan told her he wants to call off the wedding because he wants to be with HY.

The behind story is his personal agenda. His best friend died while they were out at the lake. He promised his friend he will help his sister, the diva, to get gold/championship for him fulfilling his dream. So he puts the rest of the team down just to push n concentrate on the diva so that she can get gold and he can relief off his guilt towards the untimely death of his friend. So LSisi isn't the only who is good but was put down to believe that she is inferior to the stupid Diva by him all these years. He also did that to SBS childhood buddy, LiMi's skater gf who quit in ep 1 to go to another team n now is at her full potential. She even warned SZY about coach Xiao after the tournament but o course SZY didn't get what she meant then. She even confront Xiao in front of SZY if he is trying to pull the same stunt again.

He wants SZY to support his diva just like the other girl in the past. He is crazy n super unprofessional. What's so big deal about his diva that everyone has yo support her to helpnher to get gold? 😤😤😤😤
He even promised his diva that he will get SZY to support her n let her win.

XQ is very smart. She first noticed that their gf/bf is fake n she purposely probe n get SZY to tell her so that she can put ownership on SBS first. She quickly declare it first because she can see that SBS likes SZY more than just friends or pretense as he normally don't treat girls like this.

It's darn good, isn't it. I'm glad I checked it out n found gold. It's a refreshing change of story.

I feel SZY likes SBS way earlier. Just that she denies it to herself as she thought she likes the guy coach because she thought he saved from drowning. When she learnt that it was SBS saved her, her impression of SBS changed. SZY 8s just grateful to the guy coach n like him as an older brother. We can see how her face changed when XQ confessed to her that she likes SBS. And since then she avoids being too close SBS as she don't want to cross the line. We can see that a few times her feelings for SBS softens without her realising n then she puts her wall up again when she is conscious about her feelings. She avoids deeper n closer relationship with SBS because of her friendship with XQ who declared her liking to SBS first.

That's what the main coach didn’t like about him. She feels that everyone has the ability to bring glory to school n a coach should not just give 1 to 1 coaching to a particular student as it is discriminating and demoralise the rest of the team. And this preferential treatment gives XH a huge ego n diva personality.

I think SZY mother n SBS mother used to be team mates in short track speed skater in the past before the accident happened and her mother couldn't skate anymore n SBS mother has trauma from it.

I thought QKY already know who HD is in earlier episodes when he kept apologising to her for his childish mistakes in high school. And when the girls directly told him HD wasn't in love with his best buddy Yuan but he still didn't get it. Then in the boxing ring, his friend Yuan told him that HD is the girl who rushed into the broadcasting room to take back her book, then he had a Eureka moment. Please tell if I was dreaming or did I miss something here.
