I was just watching the song by Davinchi on this drama and they shown the last part of ep 2 ... it brings back all my thoughts on that very powerful emotional scene by SHK ... for a sec or minute we get to see the window of Ha Young Eun true soul when YJG mentioned his brother's name. We can see how affected she still is at the mention of her ex name. Her normal super cool cold facade was clearly shaken, taken aback, couldn't mask or reel in her fleeting emotion fast enough. Her eyes glistening like she's going to tear any moment from it. When she finally answered him, she has mastered her emotion to a cool cucumber again.

I also noticed that HYE is always keeping herself super busy to the max with little rest each day except sleep or out drinking with her colleagues/friends... as if she is escaping from her reality ie her emotional baggage. So far, all I can see is HYE living with a mask on every day at work and with her parents. I wonder when her mask will start to crack. I wonder what was she like before she emotionally shut everyone out. She's very detached.

Am I reading too much?

🤣🤣🤣 Very true. Too odd for 2 Koreans to speak French to each other especially when they are in Busan. Initially I thought they were in Paris. Later I realised that they were in Korea. 🤪

Their French is not that bad though still a bit "ouch to the ears" At least I can understand what they were saying in some parts. 🤣🤣🤣 There were kdrama where actors speaking French that were totally off and one can't understand a single word what they said. So this isn't too bad. Anyway it's not easy to speak French if one hasn't learnt it. Even if one has learnt it, it still takes a lot of practice to perfect the pronunciation and accent.

I agree that they could have make an extra effort to make the clothes more trendy and believable especially when this drama is about fashion. The coat with that big belt that the super star wore was tacky like for a grandma.

She meant that she is still not over her ex who is ML brother but she doesn't know that ML is her ex brother. I think she knows that her ex died long time ago. She still hasn't move on n is trying to for years. She told her friend once is enough. She doesn't want to have a relationship again. Her one night stand is her way of not getting any attachment to a guy.

It has finished airing since May.

So the mystery ... Older brother died. Mother objected to older brother relationship. FL is the love of the life of older brother. Did older brother died in a car accident or he committed suicide? Bcos ML said to his mother "If you let Brother marry the one he loved, he might still be alive today."

When ML asked FL "Do you know Yoon Soo Wan? How do you know him?"
FL told ML "I'm still trying to break up with him" ... so does that means the title is meant for the older brother and not our OTP?

Just watched ep 1&2, I'm loving it so far. Like the whole thing. It gives me the vibes like In the Mood for love in 5he first 2 ep ... except the setting is brighter n faster in pace than In the Mood for Love.

Just like FL fiance ... exact mold of her father. Scary ... no wonder she wants to run away from him as far as possible,.. not forgetting he cheated on her.

When fiance can't reel in FL, he goes to her father who has ultimate control over her n manipulate the whole situation by acting the good golden boy role n make FL look bad in front of her father's eyes. Her father cares more about prestige and face than his daughter's happiness. Horrible father.

People also commented that why she is still keeping her fiance when he cheated on her. 10 years of relationship in which she put in 109% of her emotion, it's hard for her to just turn off her feelings for him. Yes she feels hurt by him but she still has feelings for him and it will take some time for her to let go of that feeling. All of us need to remember that this fiance of her also has been conditioning her for 10 years to accept and obey, suppress her rebelling urge.

FL never cheat her fiance even though she felt attracted to Mo LingZe. She keeps resisting him and even set boundary that he cannot cross. FL has already inform her fiance the cooling period between them after he cheated on her. Her fiance realised that FL has a head of her own n is now trying control her again by deciding for her in everything.

The sole person who ruin this drama for all of us is Gao Bitch period.

JZ n JJY are great in this drama. They acted very well in their character.

This is the first drama I find her acting ok n watchable. I dropped a lot of her drama as I felt something was missing in her acting. There's no soul in the character she acts in the past (only those I tried watching)

I can't wait to watch Joseph Z, YCY and LYN together in Heroes ... my 3 little goofballs. I can see why they get along so well together and YCY being their beloved little Chao Yue mei mei. 🤭🤭🤭 Would love to see 3 of them do a rhythm battle. I know LYN n YCY are good at it. They even best each other at it. 🙂

Omg ... thank you for this post. This is exactly what we read n heard. It's sad that such a great drama got slammed by anti n haters making lots of people being mislead n missed out a great drama.

Pay attention to her micro expressions and the nuances of it. It reflects all her emotions. Your heart will break together with her.
