I've tried, I really have, to watch those old school kdramas that everyone raves about - you know, questionable…
lol cuz you missed the era, all "questionable 'plots', wooden acting, relentless cliches" is part of the general kdrama at that time.
for today quality tho, yeah its sucks so bad. but if we living on that time range on the drama airs? its really fckng good! and beyond if i compare to my own country series at that time
for the note, i also missed some of the legend one on that era like secret garden, Oh My Venus and etc... like you i can't enjoyed things that people hyped about because of basic technical thing that you also said but that not meant the series overrated, just us that missed time range to really enjoy it!
