Actually... I feel disappointed at the plot twist. I expected the show to fully make it as Do-kyung's fault and…
@SpicedSugah
Hmm, I don't know. It could be that I have a very high expectation on the writer because on any other show, the plot twist would've been perfect for me, but for this one, which has been consistently giving quite unusual storyline yet making them feel relatable, it just feels quite generic and "easy", if you know what I mean.
@sharreb
Yes, almost in every scene that she cries, she cries in a different way, but not making them less sad in any way. I sincerely applaud her performance here.
@Dani
I don't like melodramas too, but somehow the melodrama in this show is just spot on, and it's attracting me to it instead of repelling me. So please don't regret your choice, because I feel like this show has something more to offer to us and by the way, if you haven't known this yet, the PD of the show has promised us that the next couple episodes will return to the rom-com area ;)
Actually... I feel disappointed at the plot twist. I expected the show to fully make it as Do-kyung's fault and…
I have to admit that I didn't see that coming but when it came, I felt disappointed more than surprised. Yes, of course a lot of fans would not really be onboard with their relationship if it is proven that all of it is indeed Do-kyung's fault, but I would actually like to see a show that is not afraid to tackle such issue and see how it all played out in the end. The attraction of this show, after all, is about how flawed all the characters are.
The writer is quite talented, so I believe she will be able to tackle the issue successfully if she decided to continue with the original plot (which she didn't, which is a shame). But maybe the audience is still not prepared to watch dramas with that kind of plot. But that doesn't mean I've lost hope in this drama. It's still really, really good, eventhough I was a bit let down by Ep 12's plot twist. But I am here for the ride, and Oh Hae-young Again sure is giving me one of the best roller-coaster ride of emotion in my life :)
After reading people's comments about Episode 11 on Dramabeans, I'm starting to feel conflicted. So many opinions and thoughts! Granted, the characters are really flawed, I dare say that not a single one of them are perfect. And all four (Hae-youngs, Do-kyung, Tae-jin) of them need to get professional counseling ASAP. It feels like the four of them are unraveling at the edges and to be honest, it's quite scary to watch them be in the same scene.
I have so many thoughts regarding this show, but they are not coming out. But one thing for certain, the drama is nothing short of amazing. I can't wait to see how things are gonna work out next Monday :D
Actually... I feel disappointed at the plot twist. I expected the show to fully make it as Do-kyung's fault and was looking forward to how they are gonna make this right. But unfortunately, the writer took the easy way out and blamed it all on that president. Eventhough make no mistake, as Do-kyung is still not 100% innocent as he still has the intention to ruin Tae-jin and he acted on his intention.
That tiny plot twist with noona and Jin-sang has already been predicted by one of the commenters over at Dramabeans, so it didn't really came as a surprise (though props to the commenter for having such sharp eyes and noticing the smallest details that went unnoticed by people like me).
Overall, this is the first episode where I felt like the drama has gone full-on melodramatic. It's so hard to watch and it felt quite heavy. Nevertheless, I enjoyed Seo Hyun-jin's crying scene the most. She is a phenomenal actress. I'll be looking out for her in the future if she decides to do another project. :)
Episode 11 is extra heart-wrenching for me ㅠㅠ
Their pain is really heartfelt. I caught myself shedding a few tears at the scene where Tae-jin smashes his bouquet of roses (man, that scene is so beautiful), and also when Hae-young fought with Do-kyung and shouted at him to beg. Their four lives are so tangled and messed-up and I really do feel sorry for them. Although, I have to admit that in the end, I detected a hint of noble idiocy from Do-kyung :/
Anyway, let us wait and watch tonight's episode and may it bring some happiness back to the show, because God knows, they deserve some happiness in their lives.
who thought it was saranghae monday, monday? *raises hand*
lol
But if you think about it, it does kind of make sense to believe that the singer is saying "saranghae monday" because the drama is aired on monday and tuesday. So maybe they want people to love monday because of the drama? XP
drama that makes my heart flutter ❤
ps: I need that ost in my life
You actually thought that? I thought you were joking about it because it does sounds so similar to Monday XD
But yeah, at first I was the same too. It's only because I'm subbing the show that I discovered that it's actually mwondae, and not monday. lolol XD
And, just a thought, but what if Hae-young and Do-kyung's first night together is at Jeju-do where he was supposed to go for his works later on? Because that would be awesome, since, you know, Jeju-do is reaaaaally beautiful and all ;D
By the way, is it just me or does the worker guy who seems to like Hae-young looks a lot like Choi Won-young? I swear, when I first saw him I thought it was Choi Won-young. :O
I'm not a fan of SNSD, or any Kpop idols for that matter. So I'm curious, why don't you like Yoona? Is it because of her acting (which I've been told is quite bad but haven't seen for myself)?
I reaaaaally ship OHY#1 with that work colleague of hers. You know, with circle glasses? It's so subtle you probably…
Yeah, he likes her. When Hae-young ran into Do-kyung's arms after their company dinner, the other Hae Young's + the worker guy's faces turn quite sour..
