I feel like his partner should be someone mature, around the same age as him. It sounds like it’s gonna be an emotional story so they need someone good at acting rather than a rookie. I’m not sure who that would be though. Ahh I just hope they’re talented and have great chemistry with bible! 😭

Yeah, I’ve been watching bl/gl for over ten years now, it’s been pretty up and down, I still keep my interest in it kinda hidden because I know some people look down on it. I feel it’s a really nuanced topic, yeah there are definitely some problematic things within it, but I also think there is good within it as well. 10 years ago back in like the love sick era, it was so taboo we rarely got even a kiss scene, but now we get series fully exploring the sexual sides of relationships, along with actual queer people directing/scriptwriting these series. There’s still many problems within bl/gl, but it’s an ever-changing landscape, with the possibility of good things to come from it. Sorry for the long reply/rant lol, I’m getting too into my feels ㅠ!

Yeah I’m still debating if I’m gonna come here and look after the 1st ep, on one hand I want to see what everyone thinks and join in on the discussion, but on the other hand I don’t want to be told that I’m fundamentally flawed for liking an nc scene filled show lol

The trailer was confusing as hell and I have no idea what was going on, but this is directed by the same guy who did 180 degrees longitude passes through us so maybe it'll be good lol. Side note, the guy whose novel this is based on (Patrick Rangsimant who is also an effing neurosurgeon! Giving me Jimmy flashbacks lol) has a few interesting/unusual story ideas/plots with their own bls coming up in the future, such as my imaginary boyfriend, I love/kill you and mystique in the mirror, so I really do hope they are executed well because the plots sound so unique and different, it may just be a confusing mess though, we'll have to wait and see. Please bl gods look down fondly upon us ㅠ.
