I cannot stop cracking up for every episode, i had to stop myself from rolling around. FL is sooo funny, i cannot 🤣 Her acting is on point, i am so satisfied with every bit of her scenes. ML on the other hand, ive seen him in When the Phone rings and loved they way his voice delivers. Over here, he is outstanding.
The 2 of them combined is hilarious! ML is supposed to be a fierce & rude person, but with FL, he is soft like a tofu! LOL

I was watching other C-dramas but this is seriously the only Kdrama i am attached to at the moment.

Same sentiments. Many said he will have character development. I am at ep 26 but is still not feeling it. His madness made me go mad as well.

Personal take - i dislike men who cant take rejection, who thinks that the world revolves around them only. Ye Xian is in denial. Felt like FL need and must reciprocate to his feelings, when he has not even tried being clear in his intention of liking her. Time waits for no man. ML did what he need to chase FL. All's fair in love and war.

FL's elder cousin Yao, on the other hand, took rejection gently and swiftly. He respected FL and her decision. He dotes on FL and has a soft spot for her. His feelings were not clearly shown but we know deep down he probably have some tiny feelings for FL.

I am at Ep 26. Seeing how Ye Xian go berserk, mad & raging, is turning me off real big time. I keep seeing people saying he will have character development. But with his anger issues and temperament like that? He is arrogant, has anger issues & get mad when things doesnt go his way. The worst part is he lashes out even at the girl he is supposed to be in love with. How is he ever supposed to marry and support the girl, when he cant manage his emotion well? Girl will suffer physically in the marriage when quarrels happen btw them. It pains me to see FL tearing up trying to calm him down, her eyes sad & probably fearful. If FL isnt strong-willed in her own heart, she might probably backed out from ML's proposal. Lucky she had it all settled and cleared her mind before Ye Xian's outburst.

I sort of started this and is now at Ep 18. Am i the only one who gets irritated by Ye Xian and the crush he has on FL? His crush for FL is like a high schooler who cannot let go. Moping around brooding over things, always getting angry, and then finding updates on her 24/7. He gets excited hearing about her but no courage to actually say or show some gentleman act. And then he gets mad about whatever the outcome is. The whipping scene was a totally turn-off for me. Urgh!

The Xin Mei in drama here is so soft, cute & gentle. She is like the purest & gentlest kind of immortal. Wants nothing but the best for everyone around her.

Love watching how gentle & sweet both LQQ and Xin Mei treat each other. Powerful war demon LQQ is so lucky to have such a nice, kind & gentle wife. She isnt power thirsty, and balances well together with LQQ's dream to be a human. It was really fate that brings them together. Xin Mei was the fated one to be his wife. Pretty, kind, humble.😂 Imagine getting Asheng as the wife.

About the prison scene, FL woke up and remembered the scene between her & him sharing the string bond when they got married. I thought that was her first time recalling.

I am starting ep 31. In the prison scene, can someone explain how FL remembered about the marriage bond? Did she suddenly recall back?

Just wanted to share that there are some us (me example) gets abit uncomfortable with steamy scenes. I love the romance when its clean and little. Call me traditional, coz i am abit of that. There surely be some who are like me, love to have some romance in a drama but without the heavy skinship/steamy scenes. Allen is doing a great job feeding people like me with great entertainment.

Agree. Romance in this way is sweet & gentle. Love how ML portrays it. Not sure if it can be pulled off by any other actor but Ren Jialun's signature is this. He yearns and cares from far. His soft gaze, smile and protection is so sweet & gentle, enough to make me swoon. 🥰

Exactly what i am going through. I thought i was the only one having questions marks in my head, lol. I actually fall asleep during ep 1 but picked it up again . Imma gonna press on because I am a fan of Ren Jialun. Guy's a great yearner, and his ending is always questionable but it adds the excitement to it.

Ive never watched Zhou Yiran's drama before. Noticed that he mostly look like a gentle and soft kinda ML. Wasnt attracted to him so far lol.

But this drama hits different. When i was watching this drama, i had to do double takes. His aura and charm was on a different level! Totally opposite of what i saw him before. I think the hairstyle, costume and makeup played a major role. The visuals were chef kiss. Surprisingly, his acting is good too! I saw that he has another costume drama with Chen Duling. Will be looking forward to that!

I read the comments and saw some said that by being so, he is trying to lure the ones in cahoot with Nie Zhe to come forward. Come forward in what sense? To also kill him? I dont get why ML is so brave enough to enter FL sect alone and wager his life on it.

Can someone explain to me in a bit more details to the objective of ML intention? What was he trying to do by entering FL place like that, and getting executed? Force her to choose between him and her sect, for what reasons exactly? I am a bit confused. What does he get by
doing that?
