Ive never watched Zhou Yiran's drama before. Noticed that he mostly look like a gentle and soft kinda ML. Wasnt attracted to him so far lol.

But this drama hits different. When i was watching this drama, i had to do double takes. His aura and charm was on a different level! Totally opposite of what i saw him before. I think the hairstyle, costume and makeup played a major role. The visuals were chef kiss. Surprisingly, his acting is good too! I saw that he has another costume drama with Chen Duling. Will be looking forward to that!

I read the comments and saw some said that by being so, he is trying to lure the ones in cahoot with Nie Zhe to come forward. Come forward in what sense? To also kill him? I dont get why ML is so brave enough to enter FL sect alone and wager his life on it.

Can someone explain to me in a bit more details to the objective of ML intention? What was he trying to do by entering FL place like that, and getting executed? Force her to choose between him and her sect, for what reasons exactly? I am a bit confused. What does he get by
doing that?

I am at ep 26 mid-way. Questions.

I just ended Ep 27. I hav question on ML's leaked identity. Did the game club players or the reputation among the club affected? I didnt see any on that mentioned. ML addressed the issue publicly, which is mainly for the fellow suppliers and contractors working with his firm. But i wonder how the club people took it. That the most popular NPC is actually playing using his own real name.

She isnt clueless. She knows she is developing some feelings for ML, hence the reason for initiating it. But ML rejected her when she initiated, so she gets confused right that moment after. We saw her trying to make herself feel better by listening to her fav song to sleep. That signifies her soothing her crushed heart to that rejected "confession", which ML did not explain more or talk about it at all after that. He just moved out of her house and appeared like nothing happened.

This is very unlikely of ML. We have seen him approaching her to explain his side of perspective whenever there was something they disagree on or have some unfinished business among them. They talked it out. But not this. All the more i feel that FL knows ML may have some feelings for her (she isnt dumb either) but she will not press him for it.

FL is professional & smart - she separates personal & business. Many of us would have drag our feets to appear infront of our crush who has rejected us. She didnt. She also continued working w the other guy, not to irritate ML but because she has own career path to prove to herself & others. She wont let her failed love life pin her down. We also saw her setting the boundary with SML in the car when he picked her up for the site inspection. She told him she is here for work, and have no time to be made a tool in their siblings rivalry.

Its a common trope yes. We have seen brothers chasing the same girl, yes. Jealousy + frustration and then finally realising their own feelings. It so common because its a common thing that real people experience. Some of us are okay with the trope and even love it when the drama executes it nicely and cutely. For me personally, its light and nice. Easy to watch. So its a good drama for me :) Plus i am biased because i just learn to love Lu Yu Xiao. Saw her in Love In Clouds and here i am :) Its ok if you dont like the common trope being used again, maybe you can pick it up again later :)

I love ep 17 so much! I dont think he is dumb enough to ignore what it means to have all that jealousy & frustration he is going through. Lol.

Also, i love the ending part of ep 17 where they both go into that dark alley. ML's past has made him truly fraid of darkness but the power of FL's voice & presence made him overcome his fear.

FL mentioned he rescued her in Rongcheng even though it was dark & scary in the haunted house. ML must have realised, he has had feeling for her all this while.

The scene when he came all the way to enemy's territory just to sort of pass her those sketches were funny. Bro was annoyed. His deadly stare at Pei was like, he has no time to waste another breath to talk to him, outside of business hours. He's there to fetch his "employee" back huhu. Loving it so much!

My first drama of Zhao Jin Mai and i am really liking her. She looks very cute in this drama. Is she always this cutesy type? She looks like a cute lil bunny, always smiling her dimple smile & hopping happily :D

I know right. I find him brooding over it a major annoyance. He was there, remained silent and then sulk over it. Whaat!

It was Universe telling him to just shut up actually and let 2nd male lead suffer 🤣

He is too busy probably haha! He seems like the hardworking type.

This is my first drama for both main leads, i find it pretty much okay. Not too weak or strong, in the middle but still suitable for the drama to flow naturally.

I only started this drama on New Years eve and watched till ep 21. Itching to know when they will finally be together. Their reels are all over my TT. Urghh. Should i wait or continue? Help!

Also, i really love how ML has been so far. He knows what he wants and he says it upfront, not afraid to show it. Very confident man but still gentle and humble. Bonus to be good-looking too. *winks* FL had a serious crush to get over with, and ML is just the right person.

My first drama of Song Weilong and MaiMai. Had seen them here and there but have not really committed to watching. This is my first of them and will look forward to others too :)

Chris is a character i like. This is probably the first SML-partner which i really like!
