I think I get it? So from what I gather, it's an enemies to lovers trope, just more ruthless than we have seen before. Her character seems to think that because she is pretty that he can fall victim to her charms / not wish to hurt her. However, because he is wicked and has no love (currently) in his heart, she dares him to fire arrows at her thinking he wouldn't. But he does, and they almost hit her / hurt her (maybe draws blood)? So this could alarm her, so he follows up with 'yeah, don't think I'm talking shit, if I want to hurt you, believe me - I can and will - but only I'm the one who can do it'. But it will be a cat and mouse chase between them where he enjoys getting close enough to hurt her but lets her go probably because he is falling for her.
Jeremy looks like he stole his clothes from Royal Rumors.
Honestly, I love him in the reds, blues, and greens. But those are probably not 'royalty' colors considered in China back then. Allan looks really nice in his outfit, that brocade is gorgeous.
Still rooting for you all. I happily await that day where the ratings / viewership breaks records because of how much China wants to see the pretty on screen and have been denied / suppressed.
