As a Westerner coming into CDramas after a year, I wish they would let the dialogue and the acting speak for the product? Sometimes they have to 'empathize' a point with camera angles or shoot a shot four different times in different angles when something ~sweet happens~. Just film the shot naturally and if it's an important bit, show it. This isn't the Disney channel and I don't think people need it spelled out. But eh, if no one is bothered by it it's clearly a Westerner viewing things from a different perspective thing.
