I was clapping in joy seeing the matching outfits! He does it again in Epi. 15 teaser, too. I'd love to see her point it out and ask "what is this, why are you dressing like me?" and he replies something dorky cute and she goes "well now".

I love this so much. Like, my heart is enjoying every bit of this slowburn because it feels so natural, and yet it isn't? It just fits. The fight twirl, gaze into the eyes had everyone watching and you could tell she was enjoying the spar with him because he was on her level of prowess. Also, I noticed he is dressing to match her!

Sometimes you could almost put this in a modern-day situation on how they're handling everyone.

Episode 14/15 are gonna be sweet.

I could watch a drama where its just the ML and FL traveling around and giving commentary and doing stupid stuff like these last couple episodes. It's his aloof and insightful tact that clashes with her brash and hot tempered one that has me like, please, when they hook up don't loose the "well that happened" or "that was said" horse braying noises.

We should work on getting this on Netflix.

I have no idea how the future will be for the 2nd ML & FML, but I am ready for the moment in which BXS has her 'Pretty Woman' moment and comes out in a dress or looks beautiful for ZLJ. I need it. He would be stunned speechless and his response would be like "you don't need to pretend to be pretty, I already know you are, but this is good too". :')

He is looking at her like that because as you saw in the scene prior - ShenLi feels that he has feelings for her but he is unwilling to say 'fuck tradition,' and she wants 'show me you love me' (aand are you my mortal lover?) and he doesn't (we still don't know what his response is after that marriage annulment request). So she probably got angry and started flirting with MF because she want him to react. He hears this and probably says, 'shit, I gotta make a choice now' or 'ffuck, I guess we're done and there is no reason to keep wanting to play my love game with her because she's over me, or the mortal me that's still me'.

XHQ is a thirst trap to me. He does so well with villain roles, but layered ones too! I'm ready to see him do both gentle and dominant.

Today's episode has been hilarious. ShenLi keeping Furong around to bring out Xingzhi's jealousy (and because she's irritated he is not making moves on her) and Xingzhi falling into her trap and telling Furong to get the fuck out of his way in he kindest of terms ... then both of them mutually absolutely telling him off. True love is making things hard on an irritating person.

I like all of Jiu Lu Fei Xiang 's stories. They all have really strong arcs and her males and females are really well written. I know they're filming another one of her works soon, but what others haven't been filmed that have good characters?

I started watching this, and it took a while, but after the court scene episode and how everyone (hilariously) kept getting dragged into this situation, I became a fan. I still don't care for the bits with the Emperor, but dude just wants Miss Drumstick. It's one huge comedy of errors to get to her.

This is THE comment. He was bored, lonely, and looking for someone unique. ShenLi is that person that makes life not so boring.
